The room was clean, staff is friendly, the free parking was great and a 5 minute walk to the Muni bus stop which we took to go to Pier 33 and Chinatown. The breakfast is just toast, cereal, juice and coffee. The rooms are a bit dark, walls are thin, and no working elevators. Still a good place to stay for value and location.

I love the location of this motel. It’s quiet, feels safe. Very walkable area. Shital, the woman who checked me in was great. They have free breakfast for a couple hours in the morning. I’ve stayed many times. Some of the rooms could use some paint touch ups here and there but it’s clean.

I felt safe staying there while my husband was at the VA. My car was safe. That was the most important thing. I will definitely be staying back there if I ever have to go back to San Francisco.

Super dated. Put us in 3rd floor and elevator out of order. Sign said temporary but someone wrote permanently on the sign and it didn’t look new. Room had a smell. Felt dirty. Mattresses noisy and old. Skipped the breakfast.

A selling point is that it's quiet. It is not. We heard everything happening around the hotel. The cleaning lady argued with us about checkout. We had a late checkout, and she tried to kick us out right at 11. Our room was unbearable hot as well.

Was hoping for ADA room on ground level. I think I requested it when I booked. Ended up on 3rd floor with disabled husband and no elevator. The desk guy did carry my heavy bag up for me.

All needs met without major complaint, however rooms were tight. New tap in shower but old holes still there and would suggest taking a brush to the grout in the shower. There was a basic breakfast. Good restaurants within walking distance. The cleaning staff was excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Front desk reception was a bit flat.

Love this place. Always very clean. Great location and extremely quiet. Parking is free . It’s an older motel, so it’s not unusual for the elevator to be down. But it’s not that inconvenient to use the stairs . Been staying here several years now. Always the first place I try and book whenever I want a nice stay in the City.

The room was very clean except for a strip lining the shower. The curtains were not wide enough to draw to make the room dark for sleeping. There are rats or something living in the walls that are noisy in the night. The breakfast was pretty awful. But the rest was fine and the location is great. It was nice to have parking too.

I don’t have anything negative to say, the property is dated but the staff is wonderful the price is incredibly reasonable, it’s within walking distance of anything you may fancy, it’s safe. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone who wants a great time for an affordable price.

Nice little stay
Its an older hotel but i found the bathroom cute retro. It was clean and mostly quiet. Says it serves breakfast but only had cereal and bread. Would be nice to have yogurts or bagels and cream cheese. Loved that there was plenty of parking!

Everyone is very friendly and very professional and when you have a problem they take care of it. The only thing they can improve on is their breakfast. It’s really almost non-existent.

Very good value (discount!)
Everything in the room was clean and working. Fully equipped with fridge,microwave, coffee maker. Plenty of towels and bathroom stuff. Slight old-smoke smell in a non-smoking room. On Lombard St/Rt 101 ... but no traffic noise. Breakfast was good, but very few seats. It was briefly closed (maybe 20 minutes around 7:45am) which would have been a problem on travel-day.

The property was very centrally located between Fisherman's Wharf and Presidio Park with both areas a walkable distance away. There were many breakfast places and bars in walking distance as we as a few restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The only slight issue we had was the water pressure in the shower which was quite weak but other than that perfect base for us during our 6 night stay in San Francisco.
