I booked this trip last minute and was excited to find this cute place in Little Italy. It exceeded my expectations and I look forward to going back, I highly recommend this property. It's a small, boutique style property. The app was super easy to use and the directions to the property were spot on. The app had all the information I needed as well as recommendations and points of interest. Everything inside and out was clean, well presented and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and I loved having a comfortable lounge area, couch and TV and I played the records on the cute record player. The bathroom was small but the shower products were really nice and the extras like earplugs, sound machine and lots of fluffy towels were much appreciated. The kitchen had everything I needed and much more. Great coffee and a selection of teas, I liked having a coffee pot and toaster, full size appliances and nice dishes and silverware. In other reviews people ask for a Keurig as they didn't like making and wasting coffee for one person. However, the coffee packets did have instructions on making a single cup and how much of the coffee to use. I highly recommend this property, it's my favourite place to stay in San Diego now!

This is ideally placed (a few blocks from the trolley, very near Little Italy restaurants, walk to park or waterfront, walk to Civic Center) and super cute. I prefer this very much to hotels.

This was okay; yoy have to jump over the bed to get to the bathroom in our suite; which i guess i didnt notice in the photos. The outside area is pretty dang loud, construction, the busy street. you can hear through the paper thin walls all night and day. The pillows are cheap and tiny, the bed is okay; really basic mattress if your looking for comfort; get something else. Also all around the parking lot, outside, smells like urine. Hard.

Very relaxing!
This was my first time to San Diego and I was very happy with my stay here. I really love that you get friendly and specific instructions how to check in and you don’t have to deal with big hotel lobbies, and waiting. The room felt like my apartment back in NYC, and had everything I needed. I will stay at other Sonder places in the future!

This property is decorated nicely but definitely needs some upgrades. The bathroom tile was filthy, we wore shower slides to shower. The rooms get extremely hot and there is only one fan in the room. I woke up drenched in sweat. Not the most comfortable stay, I wouldn’t come back again.

Wonderful place to stay! There is a parking lot next to the property, so even though you need to pay for parking it’s convenient to have the lot next to the property. If you get hot, make sure to leave windows open at night. Great place to stay, full kitchen with everything you need.

Good location - everything was within walking distance. Charming bungalow. Nice kitchen. Murphy bed was a pain to open and close, very tight space - had to take a picture off wall before it would move.

Our stay was wonderful! Incredibly comfortable bed. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We will most definitely stay there again. The mirror in the bathroom is tiny, another mirror in the closet area would have been nice.

Little gem of a place in excellent location
Apartment was cosy but nicely designed and well-stocked. We loved being able to walk to Little Italy which was just a couple of blocks away. The only niggle we had was not being able to find the laundry - it’s in a separate area next to the bungalows (you also need 8 quarters to use the washing machine and dryer). Not a big deal but would have been handy to have some information on this in the apartment. Would recommend the place and we were pleased to get early check in!

Adorable studio in Little Italy
It's an adorable little studio with a decent size kitchenette. The neighborhood is fantastic. It's a couple mins of walking to center of Little Italy. If you are thinking twice, don't. Just book it!

Charming Bungalow
Great spot just off the main grid of Little Italy. It was a 4 minute walk from Union Street to India Street. It was fun to live like a local in the neighborhood and meet the fun & funky folks from young to old. Accommodations were perfect for 2 people and the full kitchen was an excellent bonus. Just some words of caution: no central heat & air! It gets super hot in the bungalow (#1527) from 1 pm - 4 pm so I compensated by either throwing all the windows and front door open with 2 fans going at full strength or just not being there at that time period. There is a parking lot next door and a fire station close by so I’d occasionally hear sirens and cars/people coming and going. Points of interest were totally walkable from the waterfront, Little Italy, and Balboa Park. It was also a very short ride by Uber or hopping on the Green Line to reach the Gaslamp District, Convention Center, Seaport Village, etc.

The room was fine. The location lacks parking,there is no address number on exterior so finding it at night was almost impossible until calling. We were kicked out twice due to their clumsy and malfunctioning combination lock system...one time for an hour at night. They need to change that system completely. Parking was difficult to find. The room was clean and updated but the other things really created a lot of stress.

this is a amazing location and a remarkable experiences, we stayed in a tiny house built more then 100 years ago. kitchen very well organized. notice this is not a hotel...no one will be there to say hi and make sure u r good. read the small letters or u will be supersized like me paying 100$ cleaning fee for 2 day stay :(

Lovely historic place in San Diego
Very lovely and historic place to stay in the downtown of San Diego. It has all the amenities for a small flat. Easy to check in and check out. It’s had gated entrance which feels very safe. If you are renting a car there is a lot of free street parking nearby.
