Went on a last minute trip for my son’s birthday to San Diego for SeaWorld. Also, wanted to stay close by old town San Diego. This place is about a 5-10 minute walk from old town if you want to walk and avoid the parking there. Also, only about a 10 minute drive to SeaWorld. The location is perfect if you’re planning on visiting the sites San Diego has to offer. They offer breakfast as well: waffles, cereal, muffins, etc. It wasn’t the nicest places I’ve stayed in, plus there is a parking fee, however, the staff were really nice. I told them why we were there and what was going on in my life and they waved the parking fee for me. Also, ask for extra pillows, blankets, coffee, you get it quick. The room has a microwave (came in handy), mini fridge, TV, ac/heater, etc. I’d stay there again given the price and location. They are under renovation, so looking forward to see if they improve several things inside the rooms and the outside hallways. Kind of like a little better Motel 6.

Nice location. Close to Old Town. The property was under maintenance but we heard no noise. The property was quiet and despite the maintenance it was clean. All the staff was friendly.

Nice owners and staff. Not a bad place to stay and very close to Old Town. The area is a little sketchy and not well lit. Towels were comparable to cardboard. However, it was inexpensive compared to other places in the vicinity. A few weird characters hanging around that seemed to be just released on parole that were very creepy. Good place for adults. I would not bring my children here.

Hallways torn up due to remodel. When this is done, it should be a vast improvement. Room was probably remodeled about 3years ago. Room now needs a fresh coat of paint. Otherwise, it was very nice. Breakfast was pretty minimalist, so I went to nearby Old Town. This proved to be a blessing in disguise because I found a nice, rustic place for breakfast. Challenging location to get to after dark, but in a nice location. If the hallways were finished and the room had a fresh coat of paint, I would have upgraded it to 4 stars.

Nice little hotel
The pictures are deceiving, as the hotel is relatively small. The hotel is currently undergoing much needed renovations, which wasn't much of an inconvenience. The bathroom in my room was recently renovated, and very nice. If ownership/management continues to make this will be a top notch place to stay. The were very friendly and accommodating.

This place is a hidden gem. Great location, a couple of blocks to cafes and restaurants in Old Town and about 4 blocks to metro/train stop. Easy safe street parking. The hotel exterior needs updating but the rooms are newly renovated and very clean. I like the hard flooring instead of carpet. Check in was a breeze and breakfast was good. Will stay here again.

Very clean place, you can walk to old town San Diego restaurants, museum, shops, bars and located conveniently right off the fwy but still quiet place.
