Excellent sustainability and environmental values, but receptionists seldom are friendly or say hello and one sent me on a 2 hour walk to the local pharmacies on a day when she should have known it was a holiday and all were shut.

Omg this hotel is a gem!!! I have nothing ad to say. Rooms I paid so little to get the bigger room which is so clean and comfortable. The hotel has good vibe, not luxurious but cool and cozy. I wish i could try the restaurant but our schedule was tight. Location It is perfect for public transportation and walkable to the old town. Forget about dragging our luggages up and down. The hotel is so close to the station with no steps and stairs, just right across with no noise at night. Haupbahnof there is relatively clean and not busy at all. Facility The restaurant looks so cute and relax. You need to try breakfast there. Checkin and out is smooth as silk. Just press the bell and someone will come help. Storage room is so well equipped. I cannot believe i paid this price for Salzburg. So so worth it.

The room design was fantastic & relaxing, and the room was super clean. Also the staff were friendly. The hotel is in walkable location to the historic centre and very close to the train station.

2 minute walk from main train station and easy 15 minute walk to old town. Really close to sound of music botanical garden/ park! Staff was so pleasant and easy to communicate with! Room was spacious and clean, shower was amazing! Awesome breakfast buffet and taco bar. Vibes are all around great :) would stay again!!

Location was great. Bus loop is right outside. Easy access. Rooms were good. No iron, threw me off my game. Our shower was clogged. Flood the entire bathroom. The minute they knew there was no maintenance on Saturday our room should have been changed. We got a room change on our last couple of hours. Staff was great though.

Hotel is convenient walk to/from the train station. It is a 20 minute walk to get to Old center of town on other side of the river. The hotel is basic. It did have a large tub which i enjoyed as well as a separate shower..

The property is not bad and location is next to the main train station. However the hotel does not have AC. It was 85F outside and we just couldnt sleep for 3 nights. Being next to train station, you cant sleep with windows open. I realized on 3rd day that hotel doesnt have AC and it was unbearably hot. Hotel staff provided a standing fan! Fan does not cool down air, it only circulates it. You cant stay in this hotel in summers. It is hard to imagine that how they are expecting people to tolerate heat.

The hotel was nice, good Location and the staff was helpful but the room was small and had the minimal accessories to attempt to stay in the room. There was no coffee, cups, glasses… they had a kettle and a jug of water downstairs for the whole hotel. The breakfast was small and they charge $18, not worth it. There was no lobby just a sofa and a couple of chairs on the side.

Wifi connection was very poor. Room was clean and aesthetic but very limited. There was no fridge and lighting was limited. Bed was ok but pillows are not the comfiest. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel close to the train station and close to main attractions. Overall it was a pleasant stay but nothing special.

The hotel was amazing and just a small walk from the train and bus station . Staff were lovely and everything was clean . My only complaint was the air con - the room was stuffy no matter what temp we put it on so we ended up turning it off and opening the window but it was still rather warm.

we enjoyed our short stay at Cocoon. we saved some money by parking across the street at the train station. the room was a little bit warm and no AC but it was easily fixed by opening the windows. will come back!

Fantastic experience
The hotel is perfectly located for transport links, bus and train and both are located within 100 metres of the hotel. Check in was easy. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Had knowledge of local services. Used the bar/restaurant and the food, albeit from a limited menu, was excellent, the service was quick and the staff very efficient and accommodating. There are no telephones or tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms so when I asked for an early morning call, the staff said they would knock on my door. Breakfast was lovely, with a great variety of food to suit every taste. I will would not hesitate to use this hotel again when in Salzburg.

First the good then the bad. This is a great location very close to Salzburg main train station. Many restaurants around and great transport options near. Room was clean but very basic for the price. Not even a small coffee machine for the morning. Not really a room for 3 guest really small. They want to charge for everything. We arrived 1:30 minutes before check in time and they wanted to charge for early check in even though the room was ready. We asked to leave our luggage’s there until checking time and they said it would be $4 euros per person to leave luggage. So they force you to pay if not wait there until 3pm. Breakfast they charge about $20 dollars per person way too much for breakfast. Your better off going to a bakery near. The main bed was nice the single bed was hard.

This hotel is located one block walking distance from the main train station. So for people staying here while traveling it is very convenient. About a 25 min walk from the old part of town which is the touristy and beautiful area of the city. There are options to eat locally which makes it convenient. The hotel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. That being said it very basic. Which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for. No free coffee in room, no refrigerator either. Very minimalistic. As well as no gym.
