Thanks for your great review, we do have central air conditioning system that always being controlled by office, we can turn it on or off according to guests request. Sorry I don't know you were hot during your staying, we could certainly turn it on if you ask us.

Thanks for your great reviews for us, we are the new owner of the property starting from this spring, we really wanted to do the renovation as soon as possible but we can not find any contractor until this fall. We already have interior design completed the theme and we hope we could have completely new look before next season, hope we could hear from you again if you plan to come to PEI again.

I am sorry to hear about that, we do contactless check in and check out this year due to the COVID, but we are always for help on site during your staying. I agree the interior condition is old, actually you can see them from the photos when you booked, we just bought the property this spring and planned to do the renovation but unfortunately we can not find contractors during the summer time, so we have to wait for until this fall. However we try our best to clean the rooms and upgrade the supplier (towels, bath set, coffee, tea ) to make your stay comfortable for this season. Certainly we will replace the mattress as you said it's hard .

If you want amazing try a 5 star facility, not a 3.5. We apologize for the bit of dust found on the top of the coffee maker, it had been a few days since the last guest. As for cleanliness, we pride ourselves on it and be assured that all our suites are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each use. Even before COVID, this is our general practice. We are a rural establishment and unfortunately wifi & cell phone signals aren't always the best especially in the Bay area. We hope you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your review.

We're sorry that there was an unplanned outage of our AC unit. I did apologize for the inconvenience but as you stated to me at the time, "sh*t happens". Our AC unit has since been repaired. Thank you for your feed back.

Hi Bob. We're sorry you felt that way. We are a small 6 unit family operated country inn which is decorated accordingly, not a large hotel chain. You had the opportunity at booking to review our hotel information and pictures of our rooms. The Master suite you booked was not designated "handicap" and as such included stairs to the upper level. The stairs in our two level, 2 bedroom suites are standard size at 38" wide with a hand rail as per code. If you wished to have no stairs you should have booked our "accessible" Jr. Suite which is clearly identified in the written info. The hair dryer was actually located under the sink in the bathroom vanity but I did however provide you with another including an EXTRA roll of toilet paper. Our info clearly states that our restaurant is seasonal Jun-Sept, but you rudely demanded that it should have been open which is selfish and ignorant. Rural PEI is a seasonal tourist destination where most attractions and small businesses can't afford to remain open after September. You were also given a discounted room rate. We didn't research or book your travel itinerary so therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your poor planning. It seems you have rated our facility based on your disappointment with your trip and not on the quality of service you received at our hotel. That's just not fair.

We apologize for the oversight. Our housekeeper is supposed to enter each room daily to ensure garbage, beds and towels have been taken care of. Thank you for your review.

We're sorry you weren't happy. Can you please explain to us what you meant by stating that "we are not bike friendly"? We are totally bike friendly and cater to the biking community. Bicycles are not permitted in the units but we do provide bike racks and offer to bring bikes inside to be locked at night. As for the noise, we are located at a busy intersection, however, this is usually only in the day time. It is very quiet here at night.

I'm sorry but we do ask each of our longer stays if they require anything done in the room. If the guest has left before we make it to their room we always enter and clean the bathrooms, make the beds and remove/replenish toiletries or garbage. If yours wasn't done then you instructed us otherwise. Thanks for your review.
