We stayed in room 9, 2 bedroom apartment. The room was at the very end of the motel which offered parking and a quiet location away from the road. Overall the room was great, updated, clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchenette had an odd layout, no counter space beside the sink but had a full fridge and microwave. The cabinets were well stocked with various dishes but also pots and pans with no hot plate to use them. There was an older style coffee maker but no coffee or filters, keurig would of been nice. The apartment was clean and basic, but the tile floors throughout were VERY cold, bring slippers! We would stay here again.

Rothesay Motel review
I loved the size of the room, the microwave and refrigerator and a great value. I also liked the ease of check-in and check-out. It was clean and had everything I needed. It's only drawback was that the bed was not as comfortable as I'd like. I would, however, stay there again.

Location is convenient and quiet yet walking distance to many dining options. I was greeted at front desk by courteous staff despite my arrival which around 7pm. Would not hesitate to return.

The room was very clean. The area was very quiet and lots of options for dining within walking distance. Staff were helpful and friendly. By far the best Motel I have stayed at. Will definitely visit again.

This property made for a beautiful visit with family.Having a bbq to use was great for a family dinner. Inly thing i would recommend would be a collapsible dish rack as we used towel to pit dishes on and then had no towel to dry them with.

The room was immaculately clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I've rarely had a better accommodations experience, and the price was considerably lower than others in the general vicinity. A real find!

The room was nice, large and very clean. The location was quiet, we were able to sleep with the window open without any noise. The only thing we didn’t like was the smell of the bed sheets/pillow cases and towels/facecloths. Whether the scent was from fabric softener or laundry beads or something else but it was very strong. Please stop using the scented products. Luckily none of us have allergies or breathing issues. If we had we would not have been able to stay in the room. No scents is good sense! Than you!

Overall our stay was very pleasant. This motel had everything you could want or need. The only issue, which wasn't an issue for us was the heavily scented sheets and pillowcases. I'm not sure which detergents/fabric softeners or scent boosters were used but if you have scent issues i would definitively call in advance. Thankfully that didn't bother us and we had a very good stay. Two thumbs up.

I’m general, the property was OK, but there were two things that made our stay very unpleasant. 1) There was a strong perfume-like smell in the room; we think it may have been from a product used in the laundry process…the smell seemed to come from the bed linen. 2) The room had a very loud window air conditioning unit.

Very interesting history. Locals still know it by the old name. I stayed in one of the original cabins and that was pretty cool. Renovated inside but outside looks true to original buildings. Inside was perfect for me as a single. Comfy bed and amenities I need with good internet. Old layout so bathroom is small but updated. Quite enjoyed the little escape from the norm.

The property was safe and quiet. There was a bit of a bad odour when we first walked in. The tv sound was a bit tricky. The bed was comfortable, and there was a microwave, fridge and coffeemaker, which was handy.

Well, I'm of the opinion we were misled by the excellent ratings. Two bedroom, cool looking community, all seemed excellent. Arrived no problem, problem was lack of privacy. While the AC was good in the living room, not so much in the front bedroom. The sheets were heavily scented, making it difficult to sleep. Maybe we just had a bad experience, has potential, just didn't working out for us
