The hotel is undergoing a full refurbishment but even the older rooms are of a good standard. Friendly, helpful staff. Car parking is across the road at the station but the daily rate is acceptable. Handy for the rail station. 10 minutes walk into the centre of town. I will use this place again.

Would not recommend this hotel unfortunately
Staff at the hotel are brilliant and very friendly. The hotel itself needs some addressing. The heating is only controlled by radiators so difficult to get the room to a decent temperature. This was a big issue with a small baby and the first night we were freezing in the room. The bathroom whilst modern had no door between the bathroom, toilet and bedroom so no privacy using the bathroom or toilet. The shower only goes to warm temperatures and does not get very hot despite turning this to max heat. The curtains were falling off the rails in the rooms. On our last night there was loud music playing until 3am and then fighting and loud shouting and noise coming from the floor above. The hotel did not seem to do anything about this and it kept us awake and our small baby disturbed and distressed all night. The corridors in the hotel also smelt very fusty and smelly. Unfortunately would not recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing comfortable break.

Room was clean. Despite a room safe being advertised no safe was available. The breakfast at 15 Euro extra was deplorable ! (avoid the scrambled egg) A complete rip-off and of very poor quality. I booked a TWIN room but received a double. Tea/coffee provided but of poor quality. Vending machines at reception offered a poor choice.

Very disappointed to find that the restaurant in the hotel was closed. They have a sister hotel over the road and that is where the reception is as well as the restaurant. As I was staying there on business I didn't want to waste time in the morning going outside the hotel for breakfast. The management made up a couple of basic breakfast packs for me but with stale bread in the sandwiches. Pro - comfy bed and an Aircon that worked. Con - nobody on reception in the building. No restaurant in the building.

Excellent Hotel
Hotel Goderie is the perfect Hotel when visiting Roosendaal. Room was fantastic, food was great and the staff were extremely helpful. I will be back.

Our short stay in rosendaal
We regularly visit Holland and Europe for dog shows, we had a lovely stay at this hotel , staff were more than friendly and helpful, we were made to feel completely at home by all staff, the lady running the dinning Yolanda was great , my children loved her and she was so pleasant , food was great , gentleman running front desk the hotel owner was a kind helpful man , we look forward to returning again in the near future

Comfortable business stay.
Hotel has a central location. No dedicated parking but there is ample parking at the station opposite. I believe the hotel also offer parking cards at the desk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Have to say breakfast wasn't really worth the money as the selection was quite limited but apart from that the hotel did all I needed.

The photos don't do the bhotel justice. Great location, just across from train station, but was very quiet despite that (I didn't hear a single train). Staff were friendly and helpful, all fluent in English. The mini bar fridge was empty (but they also did not put a hold on my credit card after pre-paying the room so that's good)...

Thsi hotel has the perfect location, right across from the Roosendaal train station, in the middle of the center. Rooms are clean and service good. I particularly liked the breakfast selection

Remolding of rooms was a great improvement
The staff is phenomenal! VERY ACCOMODATING! Welcoming when you arrive, active interest in your stay and how they can improve anything, if needed. Great suggestions for where to visit and near by attractions and restaurants. Of course the restaurant at the hotel is very good also. Coffee and cappuccino is EXCELLENT, great way to start the day!

Roosendaal visit
We were very pleased with our room. It was clean. The furnishings were modern and comfortable, and the staff was helpful. The room had a refrigerator and a teapot. We were worried that it might be noisy, but I was very quite. We had borrowed bikes from family and could not lock they in the station because we had no european credit card. Staff allowed us to park inside. Very helpful.

Hotel is very near train station so very convenient in that regard but long walk to anything open at night. they say their rooms are air conditioned but could not find one in my room ask the maid and she said its above the door and when I asked her to show me she was shocked it was not there. So had to sleep with windows open which is very aromatic so near the train staion

We paid for a double bedroom with air conditioning. Upon arrival, the owner informed us that the breakfast, which had great variety, would be a certain amount of euros cheaper if we booked it on the spot instead of seeing it in the morning and making up our mind then. We agreed that that rate. When we got in, our room had two single beds, no air conditioning, and an OLD TV. I went back downstairs politely told the owner that there must have been an error and that was not the room that we booked. With a disgruntled face and no eye contact, he changed the rooms, assuring me that the new room had a flat screen tv, double bed and air-con, although the "first room was his favorite one". The new room which was two doors down, did have a double bed, air-con(old as my grandmother) & the same OLD TV. If there was room that was the closest to what we booked available, that's the room we should have been offered. Considering the bad vibes we got from the owner, we didn't want to go back downstairs & cause a scene. The owner made us feel so uncomfortable, we actually checked for cameras in the apartment. ( We have never even considered doing that anywhere else in the world before.) Next morning, not to our surprise, the breakfast was below average and the rate was a bit higher than what we agreed upon. Luckily he was not there, and the staff member refunded our money. It is very sad that the owner is trying to scrounge for every dollar that he can, ethically or not, from each guest.

Positives:-Hotel room was clean, beds very comfortable, air conditioning good, nice to have coffee/tea, decor ok, very good art in restaurant by Annette , staff were very friendly and helpful. Good position for train and access to Roosendaal town for restaurants. Negatives:- overcharged for room. breakfast is very expensive for the quality of food on offer, tv in the bedroom was terrible, flickering picture on half of the channels. I would stay again but check the TV and room rates before I check in!
