The location of this hotel is very convenient, just across the street from Termini train station. The property has a really nice courtyard that can be enjoyed in the evenings. The reception desk staff were very respectful. The hotel has security cameras and access control which does give a sense of security. However, men do tend to gather right outside on the street and talk very loudly, which may be intimidating at times. The room itself was fairly clean though the tiles looked moldy. The room was not very aesthetically pleasing but for a short overnight stay, it can work. The toilet flush didn't work and the soap dispensers were finicky and fell off. The shower edges has moldy caulking which was not very nice to look at. The room did have a nice mini fridge and an induction plate with a sink in the room. So the worst thing about this hotel room was that it had an "air conditioner" that was just a fan. The room got very humid and hot at night and afternoons. Rome was very hot while we were there and we would come back to the hotel to rest in the afternoons and it was very unpleasant and uncomfortable coz the room was super hot and humid. That just kind of ruined most of our Time visit coz it was super uncomfortable and hot in the room. And there was no window to open either. The other thing was the room cleaning service for the last couple of days was kind of sub standard. They did not provide enough toilet paper (just 1 small roll).

This is a complete misrepresentation of a hotel. No AC. Dirty, moldy, unsafe, loud. Avoid at all costs. And couldn’t get a refund even though we had to leave early for safety and to not ruin the end of our trip.

We had a good experience here. The staff communicated with us ahead of our arrival and gladly assisted us as we checked in. We made this our home base for nine nights. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels and linens were provided each time. Everything worked well in the rooms. Granted, it’s noisy on this block and a crew of young guys loiters on the sidewalk well into the night, but no one bothered us. We quickly got used to them. The location is two to three minutes from the metro at Termini so it was easy for us to get anywhere we needed to go.

We thought we would try to save some money in Rome and book here, thinking the previous reviews might have been off. Nope. They were right. It is not worth it. The day before our check in, we were contacted by staff to provide our ID and credit card for the tax (which is normal) since we were arriving after the office closed (after 4pm). When the first card didn’t work (international banks), we were told we would not receive check in instructions if the €36 wasn’t paid which was ridiculous. It’s too bad they aren’t flexible, especially with such a small cost after we paid for the whole stay. And why are they only open until 4pm? Thankfully another card worked. When we got to the hotel, there were lots of men smoking and drinking and being loud right outside the gate. It was uncomfortable and I felt very unsafe. The patio outside was the only nice part. Our room was on the ground with a door to it from the patio. It looked nothing like the pictures advertised. It was dark and there were spots of soap left on the floor, our toilet seat was not attached, the bathroom was tiny, the headboard was broken, and our tv screen was cracked. It was just a place to sleep, but in hindsight, wish we chose a hotel closer to the Piazza Navona, which was more central for what we wanted to see. The lady at check out was nice and friendly, but we were happy to leave.

I would definitely recommend staying here if you need somewhere close to the station and a reasonable cost. However you should be aware that the accommodation is very basic, feels somewhat run down and perhaps could be a bit cleaner. The particular street where the hotel is located does not feel safe and at night can be particularly unnerving, I was often awoken with shouting coming from the street. If you are looking for luxury and comfort this hotel is not for you but otherwise it suited my needs.

The property is located right next to Roma Termini train station, so it is extremely convenient if you take Leonardo Express from Fiumicino to Roma. Literally it is 2 min walk from Roma Termini to this property. I checked in and immediately returned to Roma Termini to buy foods. The downside of it is that this area is extremely noisy with strange people congregate in the area, The property reception only open from 9am to 4pm, therefore if you arrive late (in my case 7pm arrival), you will be asked to find your own door to manage your way in with their instructions. I had to call from Canada to pass on my credit card info (the phone call costs me as well), to pay the 6 euro / day city taxes. The room, like many others in this area, is remodelled from a decade old building, so everything is very very old. The hot water shower , if you don't know how to preadjust it, can boil your skin badly. Everything is at barebone level.(Amazingly I found the TV worked). The hotel is well suited to be an overnight transit for anyone who needs both convenience and someone to sleep. So manage your expectations for a night and you will be supper fine.

The area around the hotel is horrible, specially at night, my husband and I felt very unsafe coming in and out of the property. Everything in the room was old and in poor condition. Overall I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Very close to the train station however I would not recommend booking a room here. The bathroom had a strong smell of sewage. When we woke up in the morning there was a large puddle of water in the room and bathroom. Ended up checking out early.

The room is organized and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The problem is that you can hear everything in the next room and on the street. The street is NOT safe. The location is good because it is close to Roma Termini, but it is not a safe place.

I would like to start off this has nothing to do with the staff or cleaners on site. They just work there. The property is horrible. The beds are uncomfortable. It smells like mould. Showers are small despite the room they are in are big. Hot water runs out and have to wait for 2 hours for another person to shower.

Lovely hotel but in a very unsafe area
It was a really good place to stay, very noce and warm. The only issue was the location. The train station is very close but very rough area and not safe with lots of beggets and homeless in the streets. I hayed come back in the night time because scary man offering drugs two metres from the entrance. Also the reception service is very limited. I was surprised no police around !! But lovely hotel.

The main problem was the air conditionning that went on and off all night even if we did'nt touch anything. It was very Noisy and we coulent sleep the two night. There wss also a lot of other small problem : a water leak in the sink of the bathroom, the shower Door was not closing well, the handle of the main doit fell in your hands everytime, it was not well isolated and very noisy. Not a very good experience !

Mildew in the bathroom and on the walls around the air conditioner. No drapes. The full glass doors were frosted but anyone else staying in the place could see in. We were given a key that didn’t work and we had to call the emergency number to get into our room because the desk is not manned after 4pm. The emergency help made us go through hoops to prove the key didn’t work, and then told us where to find a spare key with everyone else’s spare key. Not safe!

This was our worst hotel experience so far. We did not receive the room that we have booked on expedia, but an old apartment, that had no windows, had smelly and used out furniture, and a terrace from which the view was awfully scary, so we’d rather kept the doors closed to feel somewhat safe. There was mold on the walls, the ceiling was wet in some areas, the paint was falling off on the edges. Of course, the receptionist made us pay in advance, before he showed us the room. Nice scam… After complaining, he had showed us another room - the one we have actually booked -, and said we can move in that one only the next day. But the next morning the other receptionist told us she cannot move us into our booked room, as some other guests are arriving with late check-in and they have alreay sent them the codes to enter their room. Anyway, no pictures of that apartment is uploaded on expedia, but we can happily share them, so other quests won’t share our dissapointing experience.

I chose it for the distance from the train station and price. I was not expecting greatness, just a place to sleep. Most things were fine. The little courtyard is nice and the room is big. I was rather mad that the air conditioner did not work. Which on its own is totally fine, there are only sheets for covers anyway. The problem was that it did not cool but it did leak all over my clothes through the night, soaking them to the point of being a puddle and I was not able to get ahold of anyone to try and dry my stuff. I had to wear my 6foot husbands dirty/sweat smelling clothes from the day before (where we walked 9 miles) and wet shoes to the tour we had scheduled that morning because nothing was open and I couldn't even borrow their dryer. I tried reaching out and got no reply before we had to leave. I did get a message back that afternoon that they were sorry for the inconvenience....... for that response alone I would not got back. I get that you weren't the one who had to smell in too big of clothes and wear wet shoes but that response just irked me.

We were mislead by the nice pictures they shown on internet. The overall condition of the hotel and our room is far worse than an average of 3 star hotel. We did not stayed there and booked anther hotel and wasted all fee we paid.

Great location, clean and secure.
This is a very convenient location to the Roma Termini (any closer and you’d be staying in the station). The hotel is clean, secure and safe. There is a huge iron gate from the street to the entry courtyard. It is a good location for exploring Rome.

The main attraction of Roma Resort Termini is its proximity to the Rome Train Station. The property is uniquely laid out. The reception closes promptly at 4pm. Check in/out is difficult if you miss this window. The property is obviously dated and it shows.

Paid for the room in full in March, held hostage for the 7 euro city tax due to plane delay and they go home at 4pm so unable to pay in person. Had to pay it by credit card immediately vs paying for it in the morning or they would not provide me the door code for the room I paid for. For 7 euro's?? - very smart business people for 7 euro they have lost my business the only good thing about this place is it is located 2 blocks from the main train station. FYI Expedia - I will be contacting you shortly about this

The property didn’t seem to cater for travelling people with very limited office hours. Due to a plane delay we had to send all sorts of details by email which fortunately we had access to. Eventually with some correspondence with some after hours staff we were able to access our accomodation. The rooms were satisfactory yet below what was advertised when we booked. The local area had some good restaurants available which was a plus. The other was it was close to major transport. The place did seem to be a “not out late at night place” but we were in reasonably early each night. Close and walkable to the sites in Rome as well. If your on a budget like us then have a think about staying here. Just make sure you check in before 4pm otherwise you may miss a nights accomodation. I would stay here again and change my arrival times to not have any anxious moments.
