great service in difficult times
We have stayed here before, near where my son was living while at university in Rome. The air con and the shower were really nice. In covid19 times, was impressed by the attention to detail of hand sanitisers , face masks etc. Service was fabulous, organising taxis - even securing a better price for the use of a Mercedes minivan. I’m sure life is difficult for any business but they were working extremely hard to make it the best experience it could be.

You get what you pay for?
To be completely honest, it was not a horrible stay but I definitely would not stay there again if I was to return to Rome. It’s a bit far from everything, our room had no window, so if it was warm, harshly put, that sucked for us. Room was pretty clean and and had a nice minibar, but you could often clearly hear what was going on in the lobby and the rooms were nothing special to praise. The staff was excellent and outgoing trying to help with whatever they could (with the exception of the man who checked us in) but the rest were great.

Disappointing, Not a Real 4-star Hotel
We didn't have a good experience with this hotel, except it's location. It is not a real 4-star hotel and at the optimum level, it can be a low level 3-star hotel in a good location. Staff were okay, however, the receptionist reacted badly by his face, when he got my middle-eastern passport and tried to avoid speaking to me as of that time! The given room did not have any window to outside (like a prison) and the air was stuck there. The only window of the room was opening to the corridor of the hotel! Upon our request we were moved to another room, with an abnormal shape, but with a window, however opening to a dirty backyard. It was surprisingly small for a couple. The bed was not comfortable and made lots of noises at night. Due to the abnormal shape of the room, the TV wasn't in front of the bed, so not comfortable to watch while you are on the bed. The walls were very thin and not insulated, so during night lots of noises from neighbors and the corridor. The bathroom was big, but with molds on the walls. With a big non-insulated window, was so freezing, especially during the first night the heating system of the bathroom didn't work. The next nights it worked. The WIFI was good. The quality of the breakfast was not the same as other 4-star hotels; Not much variety and not high quality. Usually in other 4-star hotels, you can find an electric kettle comes with free daily tea-bags and coffee, while in our room there was a just a Paid type of espresso maker for 0.5 Euro

This is a very basic hotel. We only stayed one night. Wouldn’t want to stay anymore than that. But it’s a good price for Rome. The breakfast was good. Room was basic. Didn’t feel that clean. I would only recommend if you need somewhere to stay for one night and you aren’t that picky. It worked for us

Good choice in different neighborhood
I booked this place for my last night in Italy at the last minute, knowing that I had a car to return and that I didn't need to be close to Rome's sites, which I had seen earlier in the trip. I was driving from Pompei and wanted to make sure I'd be able to park somewhere and not get stuck driving in some restricted area. Also, I had discovered a karaoke spot online (Vecchio Franklyn) that I wanted to try, and this was just a few blocks away. It's all in a university neighborhood that isn't really touristy. Anyway, the place is a little tired, but they try to be kind of funky with the decor. Room was roomy and pretty comfortable, as was the bathroom. Included breakfast buffet on the rooftop was pretty good. I was able to park safely on the street nearby overnight. Staff was helpful, and young. The guy who checked my in looked like a young Leonardo Dicaprio.

This property is the best pocket friendly hotel experience I have had in all of Europe. It is a 10 min walk to the Bologna Metro station and an 8 min walk to the Bus Terminal for buses leaving town.

Good breakfast. Good price. Clean. Our rooms have a large roof top balcony with couches. Cozy and relaxing. Close to bus stations. Not immediately in the Rome city center, but close to local restaurants offering authentic Italian foods without rip-offs.

Very pleasant stay
Recently stayed at the Hotel delle Province as part of a longer trip to Italy. the hotel was chosen since it is very conveniently located close to some friends. The hotel is very comfortable and it was a very pleasant stay. There are some very nice touches, Prosecco in the mini bar at a very reasonable price! The breakfast is also very good with fresh hand pressed orange juice available (your hands as you do this yourself!) and a good selection of cold meats/cheese, cakes etc. Certainly would stay again. The hotel is also very conveniently located for the Metro at Piazza Bologna so it is easy to get around.

Basic hotel with basic breakfast. Breakfast menu doesn't change, much. Only limited pastries are varied. Powder egg omelets were almost inedible. Machines ranging from automated omelets, pancakes, waffles and coffee machine could all use a good cleaning. The powdered egg omelet machine was so crusted over, the product wouldn't even come out. I asked the to clean it and finally the weird omelet was made. We truly enjoyed the fresh honeycomb honey provided along with cereal, bread, cheeses and cold cuts.

The hotel was good and location is great. However a bit far from the termini. If planning to use a subway(Bologna station), definitely much closer to city. Staff was good and hotel is clean. Breakfast is great but repeats every day. Only challenge is that therw is no hot air conditioning between 12 to 5 am. The room gets absolutely stone cold by around 3 am and there is no way you can get warm. Hotel staff said it's rules of Rome and gave us extra blankets which made the cold bearable but not completely gone. If I come back in summer, will surely stay again

Breakfast - mediocre Bed - good and comfortable Bathtub - repaired in a bad way, so it looks dirty. There is damp smell coming from drainage in the bathroom and the whole room has unpleasant smell Area - good, supermarket in front of the hotel as well as another one around the corner Overall, I will not call this a 4 star. Probably some facilities like safe, coffee machine, fridge, etc makes this hotel in that category!

Noisy room and a hot night. But not all bad.
First off, this booking was made by redeeming my Hotels.com free night and I believe that influenced the room we were given (Put us in a lower tier room than if we had paid ourselves), this review is only our experience and does not indicate all rooms at this hotel. Hotel lobby is quite nice and staff was very friendly. We were booked in room 110 which is ground floor, around the corner and right behind the reception desk. If you are booked in this room I would recommend requesting another room immediately as the sound from the reception staff coming and going through their door right next to yours quite often is very noisy. AC was not working in the room so it was quite hot but there is a window in the bathroom that offered some relief and is barred and leads to the courtyard so it is safe. However this window (The only window in the room, despite curtains on the wall that would lead you to believe otherwise) opens right next to the business office of the hotel so this door was frequently opening and closing all evening and partially into the night. The hotel advertises a rooftop sitting area but unlike the photo, it is not open normally, only for breakfast. They do however have a ground floor courtyard which is nice. I would rate our stay at a 4/10 given the discomfort with the room and the advertising of a rooftop that we planned to go relax on but were unable to. With that expectation going into the stay and I think just about any other room this could have been a 8/10.

The room was clean and comfortable, although, a bit smaller than what it looks in the pics. Breakfast is well rounded with many options. Staff was very friendly, they were always ready to assist and provide guidance to get to tourist attractions, they also peak several languages. The hotel is conveniently located near bust stops, metro stations and even the big train station Tiburtina. It's close to all city attractions. I do recommend this hotel, especially if you're on a budget this hotel works well.
