We came for a soccer tournament and there was a baseball tournament happening at same time. Young kids were allowed to be running around in hotel and in parking lot.

It took almost an hour to get a Cesar salad with chicken and for some reason you could not charge the meal to your room. Bartender was nice bit the wait for food was ridiculous. Parts of the hotel have been renovated (lobby) but the floor i was on was pretty tired.

Blood in my bathroom sink. The restaurant attached to the property was by far the worse service and the food was served horrendous it’s Texas grill which is the restaurant property is under repair but the staff was totally amazing the breakfast was very very poor and the electricity to provide for the four microwave and heating system for the frozen bagels and other such items blew twice during my twenty minutes of trying to get my breakfast

The room I was in was dirty the furniture was covered in stains probably some bodily fluid and big stains on the carpet was gross state there many times before and couldn’t believe the condition of the room I was in even if they are redoing the hotel the rooms that are bad shouldn’t be offered to people won’t be staying there again

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the property was just not well maintained. Furniture was all banged up and in rough condition. The door in our bathroom was splitting at the bottom. I think the property is in need of some updates.

Fitness room did not have water. Fitness room didn’t have water Room was dark (lighting dull and yellow). Bathroom fan loud. Heat/AC unit loud n didn’t keep a stable temp all night. Bathroom door didn’t lock. Room Smelled like chemicals. Pool was unkept and hot tub unkept, cold and not available. Unfortunately, I’m booked there tomorrow night as well (en route back home) and I am not looking forward to the experience. The pictures online looked amazing.

Stayed one night during a road trip. Overall, this is a decent property. Close to I-95, which worked for us. Front desk staff was efficient and reception area was inviting. Room was a good size. However, the heating/ventilation system was VERY loud. Had to turn it off entirely to get any sleep. Biggest negative was the restaurant. Service was extremely slow and inattentive, and the order was not accurate. The final blow was when the waitress instructed us on exactly how to bus our own dishes. Space could use a thorough cleaning, too. Service at the bar was better. Would consider staying again if in the area due to a good price point, but would avoid the restaurant.

First the hot tub was closed and black with mold… the gym was closed due to ceiling leak.. or door to our room didn’t lock properly ( not safe hosting a large group of teen ball players ) the carpet and elevators throughout property were dirty, and the building was so hot you couldn’t enjoy sitting anywhere. Our room air was set on 62 and still had to sleep out of the covers .. ridiculous price for such a bum motel.. very disappointed

I thought Double Trees were supposed to be one of the nicer hotels but this particular one was not. The faucet for the tub did not work properly nor did the faucets at the sink work correctly. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel which was terrible as well.

Couldn’t make it due to personal issues. Got charged full price without even a phone call. They didn’t try reaching us or anything. I’ve worked the front desk of 2 5 star hotels in Miami. It seemed as if there was a major issue with the heat in building as most of it felt like it wasn’t working at all. The overall cleanliness was sub par and our toilet looked like it was pieced together from 3 different toilets. Carpets in the hallways were stained and needing replacement. It kinda felt like the place was going out of business. They ran out of breading in the attached restaurant so menu choices were limited.

I made the reservation and then noticed several very negative reviews BUT DO NOT DESPAIR, this hotel was fine. Yes, it is an older property but has been updated. The staff was very professional and pleasant, the attached restaurant was good, my room was comfortable and CLEAN, and the whole place looked clean as well. If you want the look of a $200 a night hotel, then go to one. Otherwise this hotel will provide a nice comfortable stay.
