Easy access to the stamp show that was there ! Didn’t like all the running, loud noise, and slamming of doors in the hallway from the athletes that were staying there over the weekend! Too many little children in the pool and than closing the pool at 9:00 pm and having no just mature pool time for older guests

This holiday inn is a bit older. Bed and bedding not super comfortable but great in room temp settings. Still not a fan of bolt in shampoo and soap.

The room was clean, but a little run down. There wear tears in the carpet, and the cleaning service never used a vacuum. While it's clean and functional, you can tell this hotel is old and hasn't been renovated in a while. The pool area was clean and uncluttered.

We spend 1 nite. The hotel is as stark and sparce as any I've ever seen. It's super clean, except for the smell of weed EVERYWHERE. (Weed is legal in Illinois, and there is a dispensary about 5 minutes away.) Contributing to the constant smell of weed is the fact that there is a casino about 100 yards from the hotel and it seemed like a great many of the hotel patrons during our stay were staying there due to the closeness of the casino, which is rather dumpy by the way.

Images of this hotel are not representative of current state. It is also in very busy area and guests are loud. Paid to have our dog and received no accommodations, no area for pets outside or easily access room to exit.

Bad hotel
The first room they gave us had dirty greasy hand prints on the headboard along with residual food bits. The hallways and elevator smelled bad of marijuana. We were never told that breakfast was only served from 6Am to 9am. It was a Sunday and we got to the restaurant at 9:00am and was told they were done servicing breakfast. We complained at the front desk but the front desk personnel apologized and says all this was typical.

Wonderful stay
Very easy access from the highway. From the moment I walked into the hotel to moment I left the hotel everything was wonderful. Even the 10 police officers that were on our floor for a domestic dispute. The hotel staff and police handled everything quietly and respectfuly. Staff was very kind and friendly, hotel was clean and inviting.
