Only one member of staff can smile it appears, the others it feels like you are not welcome. Room did not look like the one in the photos. It's cheap so I didn't expect much from the room but staff could at least act like they are glad you are there rather than check-in being an inconvenience to them.

Amazing value
As the hotel was the other side of the river, in the new part of Riga, it took a little while to get there from the old town. The area was quiet, with a few nice restaurants nearby. The hotel has private parking, which was good. The room was lovely, very comfortable, though the bathroom is basic. The breakfast buffet was very impressive in the morning, and it had a restaurant attached, though we didn't use it. Overall, it was a lovely hotel, especially for the price.

Nice budget hotel
Nice hotel close to the Old Town (the taxi cost only 3 euros!). The hotel receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and spacious. The breakfast selection includes a choice of hot food, cereals, fresh fruits, bakery and even sushi. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it!

A little of this, a little of that....
The hotel was conveniently located, close to the old town but out of the expensive tourist district, but there were no maps or other tourist information available at the hotel. Our room was very clean but our friends' bathroom had a bad odor throughout our stay (2 nights). The small refrigerators were not working, but the rooms were fairly large. The hall lights weren't turned on (even at night) unless we asked the staff to do so, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating once we let them know we couldn't see anything on the stair well. There was free wi-fi throughout the hotel, but the signal was too weak to reach our room on the third floor. The free breakfast was better than I expected. Soooo, a little of this, a little of that...I don't mind paying less and getting less, but we got the feeling that this place delivered a little less than advertised. Nice staff, though!

The reception staff was very helpful. The rooms were absolutely clean and the beds were comfortable. Due to the corona pandemic we had no breakfast buffet, instead we were given food bags which contained too much sugared packed stuff. The hotel is located close to the city center, 25 minutes by bus from the airport. Great!

Für 3 Sterne Landeskategorie okay
Das Bad war schon renoviert und so neu das man noch den frischen Putz riechen konnte. Es war auch sehr sauber. Im Gegensatz zum Bettzeug das vom Waschen schon sehr dünn und vom Alter fleckig war. Das Zimmer war auch wirklich sehr, sehr klein. Es gibt einen Aufzug. Das Frühstück war unansprechend und alles schwamm im Fett. Den Service können wir auch nicht so gut bewerten, da unser grösseres gebuchtes und bezahltes Zimmer weggegeben worden war und sie uns nur das kleinere Zimmer geben konnten. Die Preisdifferenz wurde uns auch nicht erstattet, das wäre als Gebühr für die Hotelvermittlung aufgewendet worden. Das erscheint uns nicht sehr glaubhaft. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen.

Algatuseks pakuti meile majutuseks 6. korruse kolikambrit, kus hoiti vana mööblit. Jäi arusaamatuks, miks ettemakstud toa asemel sellist tuba pakuti. Personal on õnneks sõbralik ja vahetati tuba välja 5. korrusele. Kuuma vee surve 5. korrusel olematu ja kuuma vett jätkus täpselt minutiks, dussi all käia võimatu. Nii 3 päeva järjest. Hommikusöök maitsetu, marmiidis soolased ja magusad toidud läbisegi, kell 9 enamus otsas (hommikusööki pakutakse kuni 10.30).Ainus hea asi oli kohv. Plusspunktid sellise hinnaklassi juures korralikule voodile, patjadele ja voodipesule. Tagasi see hotell ei kutsu.

Una buena opción, con cómodas y bien equipadas. Buena relación calidad-precio. Lo peor, que está más lejos del centro histórico de lo que parece. Andando es una media hora.

Bed sliep prima. Badkamer, vloer leek in eerste instantie vuil, maar was gewoon versleten. Douche was vies van roestvlekken. Nachtreceptionist lag in het restaurant te slapen toen ik om 5 uur uit wilde checken.

El entorno está un poco viejo y sólo hay una pequeña tienda de alimentación, buenas comunicaciones y cercano al centro de Riga, 4 paradas de bus o tranvía, personal amable, buen parking y buen desayuno, me gusto el jardín para relajar.

Unfortunately a disappointment
First the positives. Location is great, right next to bus and tram routes. Also there is a very nice hedgehog themed restaurant close by. Breakfast was pretty nice. Then the negatives. Breakfast was nice, but everything was cold (even the stuff that shouldn't have been). Everything seemed to be falling apart in the room and the general feeling was that renovation was somewhat overdue. The chair cushion fell on the floor when the chair was moved, safety lock on the door was broken, sometimes there was no warm water, or water at all! When we got the room, there was a half empty cigarette case and a lighter in plain sight in the bathroom, left by a previous visitor or hotel staff which made me wonder about the cleaning job overall. Also, it was very hot outside and there was no A/C, so the room was hotter than h*ll. There was a fan in the room though, but that did not help much. Not much to do about this, but something to consider when booking a room during summer. All and all, the room was pretty cheap, but based on previous experiences I expected a lot more from a hotel with an average score of almost 8.

La primera impresión fue muy mala pero lo cierto es que está limpio y la cama es mejor de lo que parece. El WiFi apenas funciona y el parking es tan pequeño que cuando llegamos ya no había sitio. El desayuno está muy bien.

Отель ОК удобно расположен от старой Риги. Четыре остановки на автобусе №22 до старой Риги, около 2,5 км. Имеется бесплатная парковка. Количество парковочных мест ограничено, по принципу кто успел, тот и съел. Качество обслуживания тянет на две звезды с плюсом. Чистота номера удовлетворительная. Шведский завтрак оставляет желать лучшего. Тянет на две звезды. У нас в него входили: яичница, сосиски 3-х видов, мюсли с молоком, йогурт, яйцо варёное, хлеб, соки, овощи, конфеты. Вообще, этот отель твёрдые две звезды. Он для тех, кому только переночевать.

Simple place to stay
Hotel is fine, but not as good as expected. Rooms were rather "old". Location is perfect, though, especially if you need to travel to airport - bus stop in front of the hotel.

Für den Preis ganz ok
Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße und dadurch war es auch sehr laut. Das Zimmer war ganz ok, aber die Betten eine Katastrophe und müssen dringend ausgetauscht werden(durchgelegen, hat geknarrt bei jedem Umdrehen und die Sprungfedern konnte man spüren) Das Badezimmer ist sehr renovierungsbedürftig (die Duschwanne ist am Boden rissig bzw. aufgeplatzt). Der grüne Belag an den Wänden und Boden (vermutlich Linoleum auf die Wand geklebt) hat einige kaputte Stellen und ist wohl aus den 70er Jahren.
