"The best place in town "

"A hidden gem on the hillside. The staff was lovely and sweet, the room large and clean, the shower great. Highlight was breakfast on the rooftop. Downside are all the tight narrow steps. Also our room was placed in the worst spot possible. Next to the office and zero view with useless windows. But we arrived late and left early so it didn’t matter. "

Bed was excellent. Star of the show undoubtedly the private pool. It’s secluded, but not completely hidden away from onlookers. High touch staff, very friendly."

"What a great find Avalon Boutique Hotel was. Great location and very nice. Everybody was great and super helpful and friendly. Added bonus - get them to book your cab from airport and he will get into the old city and right to hotel door - unlike all of the people lugging their suitcases over the cobblestones. "
