Excellent breakfast buffet, beautiful facility, amazing hospitality and service. Only thing is that we had drilling above our room and the pool was under repair.

I checked in between Jan 30 -feb1 was checkout , I had booked a suite, I reached the hotel at 11 am from my tiring flight and upon arrival I meet a lady named miss Priya in reception very arrogant when I asked for early checkin she was disrespectful spoke very rudely , I was with my 4 year old son , finally she gave me the room at 1 pm after requesting many times , midnight when I was asleep lot of furniture movement noises inspite I complained the reception still it came , over all it was my worst stay ever I have seen the world but never will I travel to any of the radisson group hotels

The room I received first had stained duvets and holes in the couch. The walls were stained. The lock on the washroom doors were broken. After complaining to the staff and asking them to change the room twice, then they acquiesced. Again the new room had one dirty and another clean duvet, which I used. The staff was rude when asked for directions for restaurant in the hotel. The staffs in the restaurant were nice though. Next morning I went to ask the reception for a physical 'do not disturb' as there was none in the room. The reception staff behaved as if I was stupid and did not know anything. They asked me to use the switch in the room, which I did but it did not work. I was woken up by cleaning staff knocking and calling on the door, which I had to ask them to come back later. I stayed for a night but had horrible experience. I would not recommend the radisson group to anybody and would not stay here myself either.

Good place for a holiday or business stay.
Staffs are friendly. Services were excellent. The food was fantastic. Very clean hotel. Fantastic price. The hotel is located in a prime place with easy access to road and railway.

I had asked for non smoking room but they gave me a smoking room wich was not a good thing but they changed my room after my request.

Could have been better
It was ok, buffet breakfast was not upto mark for its standard. Lounge facility was cancelled. If for just to stay it was ok but then its price was high.

The only option in Ranchi
I booked this Hotel as this is the only nice Hotel in Ranchi, but overall it is just average Hotel with all amenities, Not worth for the price we paid but certain things are nice. Good Breakfast, Nice restaurants, O2 Spa services are nice, room is average don't expect much from this section.

Perfect place with Average service.
Nice Hotel, perfect ambience. Except In room dining. In room dining is worst as hotel staff took a very long time to deliver worst food. For my room cut fruit was complimentary which they have not provided even after my request to them. In Ranchi this is best place to live but services has to be improved. But I am happy that I got a good hair cut there in O2. Person was friendly and done the job quickly with very good finishing touch. His efforts are highly appreciated.

There is a ventilation exit or something like that in the room which makes noise the whole night long and the staff mentioned that nothing can be done, it is the design of the hotel

Car was scheduled to leave hotel at 6:00AM for a trip but came at 6:40 AM. Waiting without any time horizon was a bad experience. It was scheduled then verbally confirmed once and twice after that by the staff calling us but I do not know why. Airport drop off time the car and baggage management needed proper management. Overall it needs improvement. Thx.

Relaxing Stay
Here in Ranchi for some business and to catch a flight to Mumbai in the morning and decided to stay at Radisson which was a good choice! Very comfortable hotel and helpful staff!

One of the nicer options in Ranchi
Overall the hotel was fine but on the second day, a sewer like smell was coming from the drain of the half bathroom in the living room suite. This would be unacceptable in a hotel such as the Radisson Blu in any other city, but because there are few other options in Ranchi, the hotel doesn't bother to keep the standards up.

Very good customer service.
The manager and staff were excellent in providing personalized service. They were attentive, polite and extremely hospitable. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The wait staff were amongst the best Ive been served by. My colleague who was visiting India for the first time was blown away by the variety of food and the service. And contrary to what he was told, he did not fall ill. The Great Kebab House served a fantastic array of barbequed meats. Some attention to details in the rooms could be improved. My only other annoyance was that there was a large, colorful, noisy and racous wedding group staying at the hotel - but that is India and not the hotel. Perhaps I have lived in the sterile West too long!

Very Soft Mattress, Charged Rate not Expedia Rat
Ridiculously soft king-size Mattress -- could not sleep for a long time. Did not have the energy to make a ruckus in the middle of the night. These should be changed ASAP as never seen anything like these in 40 years of international travels. Plus when Expedia rate at the time of booking was clearly INR 6,500 + taxes, the hotel claimed they were showing INR 9,000 + taxes from Expedia transmission. The hotel initially asked me to work this out with Expedia. When I said "no-way" and holding firm ground, front office manager finally relented and accepted the Expedia booking rate.

Nice hotel at the heart of the city
Nice hotel, clean, comfortable and safe. Fabulous brekfast included in the daily rate. North Indian, South Indian and western breakfast are part of the spread and you can have made to order omelette, puri or dosa. Good housekeeping. Enjoyed our stay.

A jewel in Ranchi
The hotel is extraordinary. The staff is the most knowledgable and helpful that I have ever experienced. Their pride in the hotel and the guests comfort was special. Their caring for and understanding of the complex culture of Jharkhand was inspiring. Our driver to the village, some 2.5 hours from the center of town, was excellent, spoke superb English, was knowledgeable about the area and very helpful in every way. Vincent the host was caring without being intrusive. Food is excellent and the bed was wonderful.
