This was a great and cheap stay in Raleigh. Holly at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Close to downtown and many restaurants.

Probably the worst stay ever. front desk staff was kind, so I appreciate that. On the walk-in to my room, I was greeted by the odor of a high school locker room. Dirty toilet, ceiling sprinkler wrapped with toilet paper, and the shower was dirty. To top it off, there was a hole in the wall by the air conditioning unit that was stuffed with paper. Strange and disgusting experience. Would never recommend.

I called the front desk to let them know I might arrive late out of courtesy and a gentleman picked up the phone and was extremely offensive. I will never book that hotel again because of the front desk man that was being absolutely inappropriate. His exact words were “this is a hotel you can’t just call and say whatever you want”. That man does not deserve to work at a reception desk!!!!

The ceiling had a leak, the smoke detector was removed, the tub was falling apart, the halls smell like weed, the stairway beside the room has soo many cob webs, and there is a homeless encampment across the street. I have video and pics.

Good Location
Not a bad place. Not downtown, despite the name, but not too far away. Room was fine. Staff was hot or miss, the check-in clerk was clearly in the wrong job. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at a Quality Inn - cold cereal, toast, a pre-packaged sandwich, and the ever-present waffle-maker. No safe in room. Comfy bed. Bathroom is fine. Good location for getting around the area.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was as expected. Good area and closeness to Sams was a plus. My issue were with sheets on my bed-hairs and possibly crumbs-and the mattress for the fold out couch. The room number is 300. Do NOT plan to use as a bed. Mattress was flipped to spring side up to hide stains-one huge stain looked like blood. I understand that things happen and maybe the hotel is unaware. Theyre aware now. I left the bed down so someone would have to see what a horrible thing. Please replace.

The front desk lady was sweet who checked me in. The room was normal. Tv sound didn’t work on some channels. Roach came running out of the shower but we just sent him back with some water. Some lady in the room next door was yelling or crying throughout the night. They have a trash can by the elevators not a pleasant smell. I say for one night it is fine not somehwere I would stay for multiple nights.

There was no second lock on door. Someone had removed it and it was never replaced. At about 1 am someone started yelling and fighting. This went on til about 3. I felt so unsafe. I almost called the police. Hotel did nothing about it. Very run down. Lots of spots of rust and mold. Clean but very deteriorated.

My stay and overall experiences were good at the Quality Inn, but the king mattress was damaged in both of the two sleeping areas near the right and left side. I was able to find a spot to lay where I could rest. The essence of staying in a hotel is to have a comfortable sleep and so I could not give them a better rating for this stay.

I would recommend staying there especially if you are going to PNC Arena its not far but also away from the traffic it was very convenient for us! The staff were super nice and friendly!

To be honest, i would never stay here again. The staff was great, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, etc. the hotel needs a major remodel. There was rust around the door frames, stains in bathtub, stains on shower curtain. Pillow cases were yellowed on some. Air conditioning was loud and didnt work very well. Lots of LED lights that kept me up. Curtains wouldnt close all the way. TV was absolutely HORRIBLE!! Lighting was poor. The room was clean but really really old

Room was nice. Clean and didn’t have any bad odors. Tub was also clean. Front desk was amazing. Only complaint is breakfast. It’s not much. Only fruit they had was oranges. Add some bananas and a few muffins and it would be great. We will be back for sure. We came to relax and enjoy the whirlpool tub. Which we did.

I stayed here with my mom from Friday, 9/8/23 - Sunday, 9/10/23. We had a very bad stay at this Quality Inn. There were a few good things, but overall the experience was atrocious. The Nit Picks: - While there were plenty of channels (including HBO), the third party remote made it very difficult to select a channel. There was no way to interact with the tv guide channel. - The bathroom was pretty grimy. The inside bathroom door frame looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a VERY long time. - The light switch for the bathroom was on the outside of the bathroom, behind the door for the bathroom. So the person using the bathroom couldn't turn the lights on. We opted to keep the light on with the bathroom door closed for the entire stay. But the lock on the door didn't work, so there was always a risk of barging in on my mom in the bathroom. The Bigger Issue: On Sunday, 9/10 at 4:00 AM, the fire alarm went off. The person working at the front desk informed us that our was a maintenance issue that was causing minor flooding. She was able to turn off the klaxon, but the light in our room continued to click and flash for the rest of our stay. We were too tired to drive, so we covered our eyes with towels and pillows and tried to drown out the clicking with white noise. It was the worst night of sleep I've ever had. The person who checked us out at 9:30AM on Sunday, 9/10 was extremely callous. A tiny bit of sympathy can go a long way. Instead, she literally laughed in my face.
