RIAD was very beautiful and service was above expectations. My room was a little small. However, Fes is a very large city with many things to do. We basically were all the time outside. Book this beautiful RIAD if you want to feel safe and comfortable. Best services guaranteed!

We were never greeted or welcomed by anybody official like we were with ALL the other Riads and Hotels. At This Dar Kika Salaam. The ONLY worker by the name of Hisham was extremely kind picked up our luggage and brought it into our room, Nobody else from the staff ever greeted or met with us. Hisham is the ONLY worker in the Riad doing everything from serving us breakfast. We and other few guest did NOT see anybody else other than Hisham for 3 days we stayed there. Our bathtub had a broken shower bracket and NO place to hang it, The sink in the bath tub had several cracks,the chair in the living room was broken. We saw coakroches in the bathroom. I wonder what would have happened IF Hisham, the ONLY worker was not there? We are thankful for Hisham who assisted us and managed to do his very best to show us the hospitality.

The riad is just within the medina but easy access to the street so it's convenient. The tile work and stone fret work in this riad are very beautiful. Understand that if you stay here it's a few hundred years old and not fully modern. The showers, for example, are tiny. Many Americans would not be able to squeeze into the shower!

This could be a great Riad if the owner would invest some money to put curtains on windows, make the showers standable, have a good hair dryer and an AC that works. The address is difficult for cabbies to find though it’s nicely located. Inside, it had all the trappings of a traditional Moroccan Riad. The best part was Ahmedlilah, a gem of an employee who managed everything with such honesty and devotion that’s hard to find. Only for him can we return here. The breakfast was good and the service was great.

I stayed here on my own (pension-age woman) and was delighted by the care shown by the host, the friendliness and the service. nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. The breakfast and dining room has lovely views across the city and the roof garden is nicely set up for sunbathing and relaxing. It's just inside the Medina so easy to walk out to the sea and the city walls or along to the market. I was very taken with Rabat generally-everyone was friendly and helpful. I thought the Riad was great and excellent value and would definitely go again

The most charming hotel I've ever stayed in, walking distance to excellent shopping in the Medina and the Oudaiya museum / waterfront. Extremely helpful staff - thanks to Abdel and his brother! Highly recommend.

Delightful DKS
First of all, Dar Kika Salam by DKS is stunning--everywhere you look, it's beautiful. The views from the rooftop terrace are spectacular. The staff is very helpful, gracious and accommodating. The breakfast is ample and fresh. The location is terrific because it's within walking distance from super restaurants, touristy things, the river walk/wharf area and the ocean. There's also a nearby taxi station. If I come back to Rabat, I would stay here again.

This property is fantastic, the location, the people the amenities everything about DKS was great... We literally felt as if we were walking into our own home day in and day out visiting the Riad, The rooms are comfortable. Any need that we had we asked and it was taken care of immediately. The rooftop was sensational with an amazing view, but most of all it was the staff top to bottom. Just so generous. So happy. Happy so willing to take care of any need for their guests..

My husband and I were in Morocco for our honeymoon and this was our first stop! The staff were so helpful for tips and ensuring our couple of days in Rabat were enjoyable! Our room was beautiful and the location was centra, basically a 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 to old city centre! Would definitely stay again!

We highly recommend staying at a riad in the Medina. The Dar Kika Salam is very well situated near the Kasbah Udayas and close to the main shopping in the Medina. The property is a cultural gem. The staff is fantastic! Pleasant personalities, extremely helpful, engaging and draw you back to the riad should one ever re-visit Rabat.

Luxurious Riad. One of the best riads you can find. Marina at walkable distance where one can find many restaurants. Very picturesque riad. Will highly recommend this riad for people to stay. Very safe.

We had a wonderful experience at Dar Kika. The riad is situated conveniently right at the entry of the medina and near the riverfront. They took such good care of us and even assisted us in finding a reputable local car rental agency for our road trip beyond Rabat. We highly recommend this lovely riad to anyone visiting Rabat and looking for an authentic Moroccan medina experience.

We enjoyed our stay! Wassam was very helpful, even helped us negotiate the cost of our boat ride across the river. The room was nice, bathroom and shower pretty small and the rooms are noisy due to the proximity to the Medina. The roof top area is beautiful, a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the city! All in all a great stay.

This Dar is in an excellent location very close to the Kasbah in a very quiet area with great views of the river and even part of the kasbah. The place is clean and we had a great service when we dine there on our first night ( the young gentleman that serves you dinner was a fantastic and 5 star server). Food was pretty good ( breakfast and one dinner) Now to the not so good feedback ( and I always try to be balanced and not complain about small things): there does not seem to be any real service in this place, nobody told us breakfast hours and even the dinner booking looked like it happened by chance ( I believe they might be changing management based on other much better reviews?). Upon checkin our room did not have towels or hand soap, I had to go and tell them ( ok, it might happen), one of the night table lamps was not working and neither the hair dryer ( I advised them and they fixed the lamp, but the hair dryer never came back); the shower head was leaking and the hose was too short to be placed on the wall support so we had to hold it while having a shower; the bathtub was painted and part of the paint is peeling. This is not a deluxe guest house as they advertise. They also indicate in their ads in booking sites that they provide robes ( that is not true). Last, we asked for a car to drive us to the train station and we were told that they will accompany us to get a taxi; the next morning, they left us at the door telling us to walk and get a taxi at the corner

Great Riad well placed and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, staff was super friendly and picked us up to carry our luggage abs same when we left. The only issue was that there was only one bed so one of my daughters had to sleep on a sofa, which was not down for sleeping. I wish the description was clearer when I booked.

Perfect location, walking to all historic sites and a beautiful riad perfectly restored. Crisp clean new sheets, very comfortable space, stunning perfectly intact tilework, the photos do not do it justice. And a terrace that commands the river and a miles-wide view of the madina. So happy that I booked this delightful place for my family's first Moroccan experience. The staff was so thoughtful and attentive and kind. Bravo Dar Kika Salam!

Very Clean and well maintained Riad!!! Amazing homemade food !!! I want to commend Aziza and Abdelilah for their warm welcome and world class customer service, we were immediately greeted by Aziza upon arrival and she did set us up with very traditional cozy spacious room !!! Abdelilah was very kind to help us carry our luggage from the car to the Riad. Then, comes the welcoming Moroccan hospitality where we were offered complimentary traditional Moroccan tea & tasty cookies as gesture of kind welcome! I will definitely recommend this Riad to my friends In the USA and family !!! Keep up the great work !!!

My stay was pleasing and comfortable. The Riad is well situated close to the Kasbah and shopping in the Old Medina. My only complaint is that there was an accident with the shower nozzle, it separated from the hose and caused a little flooding. Staff was quick to replace shower head but left the mopping up to me. Very minor inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again.
