It's a great location for easy walking to chateau and old Quebec main area. It is an unmanned front desk and we booked last min through Expedia , but we called upon arrival and a gentleman answered the phone quickly and came right over with the keys. Parking is right around back very convenient but expensive $25/night. The room itself was very old/dated but beds were comfy and clean. We only stayed 12hrs so perfect for a quick visit/layover

The property is well located and near to all the major tourist attractions, there were no staff in the location but instruction were clear on where to park and how to access the hotel. The rooms were clean and equipped with the basic necessities. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Muy bonito el hotel, muy confortable y muy pintoresco, la estancia fue buena, a lo que no estamos acostumbrados es que no haya nadie quien te reciba en el mostrador, que solo encuentres tus llaves de tu habitación y que el servicio de limpieza no lo den, es una particular forma de trabajar de este hotel, por otro lado, deberían de dejar el código de acceso de la puerta de la calle en el sobre donde dejan las llaves de la habitación ya que lo envían por correo y justo esos correos se fueron a la carpeta de spam y así imposible poder saber el famoso código, el precio muy bien y la ubicación excelente

A property to give you a taste of the older time richer people, with comfort. The facilities like air conditioning are not the best (slightly noisy), but should be about normal among the hotels in old Quebec. Overall, our family enjoys the stay.

Great location, and very walkable to old Quebec. However no service is provided, and rooms were a bit run down. Walls are thin, and we can hear our neighbour.

Bring ear plugs. While it’s located in a great area, the walls are paper thin. Each night you will hear your neighbors, the road, any and everything. With nobody ever stationed at the hotel, you are stuck handling things yourself. The power may also go out as I lost bathroom lights, tv and fridge electricity.

Good location for old Quebec. Did not see any staff. Arrived 1hour before check in and no staff to be seen- could hear someone cleaning upstairs. Luckily we only had small back packs so did some sightseeing before going back to check in. Official check in time was 3pm, at 4pm, no staff in sight, just envelopes on the desk with names on them. Anyone could have walked in and collected our key. Same for checkout, no one manning the desk, just left the key in the envelope we received it in on the desk. There were hairs in the shower when we used it the first time. Room was large and comfortable.

Like it says on the email that everyone one received, there is no receptionnist for now at this hotel. The receptionnist is working at the other hotel. The door is locked, so no one else can entere the building. Thank you for the others comments.

Good location
Great location, not much sound insulation between rooms and booked queen bed but think was smaller then that. Aside from this, Coffie in room was great, has a fridge in room. Would stay here again

The location is very good but the Wifi is really bad. We did not get hot water for shower. We called the staff to fix it the other day but still no hot water for shower.

We booked a night at the Heritage hotel for 3 people with 2 different distinct beds. Once arrived at the hotel, there was a bug between expedia and the hotel booking tool (3 booking for the same room). I have to sleep on the sofa bed which is really bad. I did not pay for this. Expedia, you should control better your booking. This is a really bad experience. I want a refund for this night.

Room was clean, bed very comfy, bathroom renovated, lovely high ceilings. The lobby is not beautiful, nor the hallway leading to the main floor rooms but who cares? The room was great! And you’re in Quebec City! We walked until we were ready to drop and our hotel room was a lovely place to land after a long day. Would definitely stay there again!

Front desk only sometimes manned, but there's a phone number on the door to call as there is another property nearby managed by the same people. WiFi didn't work while I was there. Room was clean and a good size, lots of towels etc. Very convenient location for Citadel and upper town

The mini-fridge was spacious enough for a few days worth of food, but at times wished that there had been a microwave for warm meals inside the room, if we didn't feel like going out for dinner. The inclusion of two separate beds was very much appreciated!

Close to all, pleasant stay.
The hotel is in an old building with no elevator. The room decor was a mixture of modern and classic. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of things to walk to nearby. However because the hotel is on top of the hill all return trips are uphill.
