We had made that reservation several months before with the understanding that we would have what was advertised. When we arrived, we found out that the dining room had been closed for several months but yet is still advertised when looking at their website. When we got to our room, we also found out that there was indeed a convenient coffee maker but we had to go to the main desk to find out that the little coffee capsules were available for purchase only .. ... .. and then we also found out that the fireplace was not a gas or propane fireplace but a wood fired appliance which due to safety concern was only allowed to use commercial logs at a cost of over 8 to 11 dollars. This was only available at the desk which was not staffed most of the time during our stay. I do not recommend that establishment and will never go there again.

Chambre désuette, vieux meubles, vieux lits, vieux tapis, propreté douteuse - chambre au 2e étage il faisait trop chaud et le moustiquaire de la porte patio était tout brisé et pendait. On ne pouvait donc pas laisser la porte entrouverte. Je ne suis pas restée, je suis partie tout de suite et trouvé ailleurs (tout près) une belle chambre propre qui accepte les chiens - et pour un peu moins cher en plus.

Bonjour Madame,Vous êtes arrivées durant la canicule ... Hydro Quebec avait coupé l'electricité dut a un incendie sur l'avenue Royale... donc pas d'air climatisée, pas de lumiere... L'electricité est revenue vers 21:00c'était vraiment hors de notre contrôle... Nous vous avons quand meme remboursé sans arguments. J'espere que vous aurez une meilleure expérience la prochaine fois,Annie

Nobody present for check in. Called number on desk but owner’s cell had been left on desk in front of me. Owner/manager showed up after about 15 minutes. Quick check in after that; got room keys but they didn’t work. Went back down and got new keys. Finally got in. Room was clean though rundown. Bed was pretty comfortable but pillows felt like they were made of cement. Toilet stopped working in the middle of the night. Down to lobby to use bathroom there. No lock on bathroom door in lobby. Shower curtain had mild on bottom. Not a great experience especially for almost $200 a room.. Go elsewhere.

The staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They gave us several options for dinner as well as places of interest. The room was clean, bright and perfect for a ski weekend. If the restaurant and Bistro open again, it will be perfect.

The entrance of the Auberge is not easy to access. In fact, the entrance is right next to a big turn, a blind area (if driving from Quebec direction) for driver. The Auberge is under staffed. The cleanliness is of concern--some dirt and blood was spotted on the bed and bed sheet. Many electric outlets do not working. Also, there is no river view around. The fireplace cannot work either (understandable, but should be clear up in the front). In my opinion, this place is a little bit expensive in terms of what they can offer.

A nice place to stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at La Camarine. Comfortable rooms and a kitchen and game room downstairs made staying in for dinner easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would happily stay there again.

Quiet setting. Upkeep a problem, noisy and obsolete air conditioning. First room AC was broken, second room ok. Had to shut down AC overnight, impossible to sleep with due to the noise. Questionnable bedding cleanliness, had to flip over the bed sheets.

I called the facility asking about breakfast. I was told there was tea and coffee available 24/7. However, I didn't know that it was not free. Also, there were no tea bags, cream, or sugar. If I had known beforehand, I would have brought my own. The coffee maker in the lobby was slow - only one person could use it at any one time.

Nice big rooms and big bathrooms. Difficult to access the parking lot if travelling east on the highway. Close to excellent cross country skiing, if you're in to that.

Good location and the room was very clean. The bed was hard but luckily we had a sofa in the room, so I slept on the sofa. Will stay here again.

I understand that these are trying times. Was disappointed there was no restaurant on site. I had heard that the restaurant was nice. There were no housekeeping services either. Disappointed.

Hello sir, Unfortunately, the restaurant did not manage to get through the Covid-19 crisis, it is not our resort. We are close to so many more restaurants. Many restaurants are less than 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Cleaning, you had a sanitary measure in your room which mentioned it very well. We had stock during your stay to meet your needs anyway! As you mentioned, these are tough times and we need to take the time to get back on our feet. Thank you for your feedback.
