We were the only "European" tourists staying in the hotel but were made to feel very welcome.
The food was excellent and while relatively expensive compared to some of the local restaurants still very good value.
Only down side is that if they have a wedding etc on it can be noisy in the garden rooms and the pool/pool area can be out of use.
Food is always great since I started visiting the hotel first time in 1991

THE WORST BOOKING FILLED WITH COMPLETE HARRASHMENT
Dear Hotels.com, You should not display this hotel under ur booking options as they do not understand that payment and booking has been done from hotels.com. all they say is that they never received any payment from hotels.com and hence 2 hours of continous harrashment for the customer. Mr Dhruv from your end tried a lot to explain the hotelier how to take the payment from hotels.com but the hotel staff never agreed to listen and were stubborn and wasted 2 hours of the valuable time. we missed our Temple Dharshan in the holy place of PURI due to your bad tie ups with the hotel. in the end we had to pay again from our bank debit cards to successfully check out from that place. i request you to refund me all the money the hotel staff took from us at the hotel through card swipe. i also ask you to return my money including the loyality and taxes paid to the hotel. this was promised to us by ur toll free telephonic inxharge Mr. Dhruv and i hope you will stay by your words.
worst experience in life. will never book with hotels.com ever again.

Puri Beach Hotel
The customer service manager greeted us with a beautiful cake and made efforts to make our stay a memorable one. A waiter, by the name of Sakkil, really went out of his way to ensure great service to us. Thank you guys.
