The Autism Double Check for kids with special needs was the reason we decided to book our trip to the Nickelodeon Hotel and Resort. The staff excelled the expectations and the attentions to our 6 year old autistic son had a great time specially with his strict diet. The cook staff was very aware on his diet and chef Alejandro and Fabio were everytime complying with our family needs. Jorge who was our concierge and Maria the Manager were always in contact to us so we can had a great time here.

No fue para nada lo que planificamos , solo estaban funcionando tres restaurantes , el aire acondicionado del buffet no funcionaba . Tuvimos que pagar para que mis hijas pudieran ver a los personajes un desayuno de 89 por adultos y 79 por niños una tremenda falta de respeto por un hotel tan costoso y temático . Se debe incluir las actividades porque para eso uno estima un hotel todo incluido . Cerveza hay que pagar 5 dólares extras por la corona . Si estás pretendiendo un lugar ameno para compartir en familia no es este . Si quieres es slime tienes que pagar 47dolares o sea todo tienes que pagarlo extra . Tomamos el tour del Saona yerrible la comida , cojimos también el tour de coco bongo 185 dólares por persona y el transporte no eta privado y súper costoso el tour con el costo que tiene la discoteca . No pierdan su tiempo , la playa terrible parecía tierra la arena oscura que tienen en la misma

Its been my 2nd time around Never understood why the bad reviews Everything was going great celebrating my daughter's 2yr bday Until checkout ... i dropped our rental at valet Only to receive the car with a rear ended crash All the guys at reception agreed it wasnt there at dropoff Got on contact with supervisor "Maria ruiz"she went to check the cameras Mind you i had a flight to catch They made me wait 2hrs almost missing my flight An the concluded on my arrival i had scratch an that maybe I arrived with the car banged up Told them its impossible i would've noticed unloading luggage an so would all the bell boys She told me to get my legal team ready and have them reach out to the hotel Horrible way of handling the situation Loved the hotel but after this last interaction I wont be back Its a shame

Service is terrible. Food is terrible. You have to pay extra to get slimed or to go to breakfast with character. Staff is always harassing you book excursions or to go to the spa. Will not go again. Not worth the money at all.

This is my second stay at this property and I was somewhat scared due to the recent reviews . The stay did not disappoint . The staff goes above and beyond- they are the nicest people ever and even saw workers from my last stay. Tip them please !they do an amazing job . The buffet food was great and since it was only 3 days I didn’t feel I was repeating the food. I have no complaints. My only small complaint is that since is low season for them - only the buffet was open. Spacewalk we did not have reservations for the 3 days I was there . The facility was under construction but it did not affect me at all. Did not have to wait for more than 5-7 min for golf cart either !

Stayed Thursday - Monday, I am so glad I didn't listen to some of the reviews. I you are traveling with kids, especially kids 12 and under, this resort is for you. Extremely kid friendly, giving parents a breather. They provide items such as: strollers, cribs, bottle warmers, baby monitors, baby tubs, etc. upon request. I do agree with some of the reviews, food wasn't impressive, but it wasn't bad either, we liked the buffet ''Sugarcane'' the most. We booked two rooms, they were super clean. One needed a bit of paint to be refreshed in some areas, but it was barely visible. We did loose power for 2 hours in the room, but they quickly resolved it. Water park was fun and the swim up suites gave my husband and I a chance to relax once the kids slept. Snick lounge was good to get a drink and had arcade games for the older kids. They are building a water park for older kids & adults, if you are traveling with older kids I would choose another hotel until this is completed as pools close at 6. I would recommend for more restaurants to open on Sundays. Oh, quick tip! Please refrain from attending the conference they offer during check-in.

The room had bed bugs, all of the restaurants were closed every day of my stay, except 1 and the food at the buffet was cold and disgusting, the security made me miss my flight because they wanted me to pay an additional $216 and wouldn’t let me leave until it was paid & so I had to re-book another flight home. I winded up having to contact the U.S. Embassy

This place is a mess! There are huge roaches.. there aren’t many things for the children to do. The water park is open until 6 if you are lucky. They closed the water park at 4 one day with nothing for the children to do. Very few character sightings! If you want to see the characters you have to pay for their overpriced breakfast show, that has less food options than the regular buffet! The food is terrible! There are limited places you can eat at certain. There was no welcome slime drink, there was garage floating around in the lazy river. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The staff is overworked and it is obvious! This place needs to be shut down! I went with very low expectations because of the terrible reviews I read but it really is pretty bad!!

The front desk staff very rude. Staff around the hotel are nice. For this to be a luxury hotel it doesn’t seem very luxurious. We had to switch our room at 11 PM because the toilet didn’t flush and the ceiling was leaking mind you we were traveling with children with no real accommodation. This is a first and last time for me at this resort.

Nice but needs more activities for younger children. Parents should be allowed in the play area to do crafts. The fridge should always be stocked without asking. It was annoying having to call for things. For the price we paid the pool in the room was dirty. I had to call and ask for cleaning. Staff were 5 star, everyone was nice and helpful. Character breakfast is a must. Overall it was not a 5 star all inclusive. I would give it a 3 1/2 star.

I didn't like that my iron wasn't working. The gave me a new one. The room phone Wasn't working and they never repaired it. The refrigerator they didn't check every day to see if i need more supplies. Also my grandson spilled soda inside the refrigerator and they never cleaned it. The night shows were too short.

We had a great time here. All staff was friendly and helpful even though we didn’t speak Spanish. Definitely get a swim up room, it was a highlight. Beach and pool was beautiful and well maintained. Verdello and Spacewalker were the best restaurants. Never ran out of hot water, and doors have to be closed for air conditioning, we never had a problem. Highly recommend!

I would like to start up by saying that the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. I’ve never encountered staff at a resort that is quite like this one, it makes you feel very welcomed. Pluses are the at the amenities you get as a parent if an infant are unmatched bottle warmer, Chico Bravo strolller, bottler warmer, full size crib, etc are super helpful! Everything is stroller accesible. Cons are that there isn’t much to do after 6PM the pools, bars and beach close at that time and the evening activities are very much lacking. The “resort square” has a pop up bar and music but it just isn’t the same. The snick lounge is open to adults in the evening but if you didn’t bring someone to stay with the kids that one is out. The food was okay but left something to be desired. While the resort is named after Nickelodeon there really isn’t very much presence or characters they do not have all the paw patrol characters only chase and Marshall, two of the ninja turtles etc. I would have thought they would be out and about during our stay but they were not. All in all I’m glad we went but for the money we paid we would have stayed at another resort in the area and saved money.

I had a wonderful time at the resort with my 4 y old son and 2y old daughter, but I have some complaints to share. I shared it with them at the hotel, and the staff said the hotel will let me know feedback but I never heard back, so I am going to share them now. On my 2nd day, I stepped on a very sharp object at the Aqua Nick Pool and bled profusely on my right foot - it left a wide and deep gash. The medic had come over to clean it up and made me sign a "refusal of further care". It cut so deeply that it hurt to walk barefoot. The gash has just started to close today The next day, Monday, I stepped on ANOTHER object, this time on my left foot, which also left a cut. This one while not as deep was also very painful and did bleed. Now both my feet are hurting. Lastly, I did not appreciate that the resort closed the property down on our last night Wednesday, for what seemed to be a "hotel event" unrelated for the guests. Had I known, I would not have booked this night, and pulled up a different day. What a waste as there was no place for the children to go after 6pm, and also there was no bar for adults to enjoy except all the way by the beach. Generally I found management to be completely unresponsive to client needs, so if you come, make sure you manage those expectations and otherwise the kids will have a great time (hopefully safely - though not guaranteed from my exp)

The property is old. The room needs upgrades. The surrounding areas around the sink and toilet are nasty. It appears they are not being cleaned on a regular. The overall water park, pools and beach are very nice. The food is not good. Breakfast was bearable but lunch and dinner poor quality.

Property was very clean. Kids loved the waterpark and kids club. One important thing to note is the kids club is open 10-12 then again from 2-5. So there is no all day option.

The kids enjoyed the property and the waterpark there however there were things that were inconvenient. Only certain restaurants open at certain times/days. Bathroom locations ( had to leave the restaurant to use it). Most of the staff were great and the resort was clean.

The hotel is under construction, which is very limited. Should be MARK ? when you book the hotel with this condition. Food choice wasn’t really great for stars hotel like that. Also only a few restaurants was open daily.

We never like to hear that any guest has been disappointed with their experience and we have noted the aspects of your stay that you felt impacted your experience, making your stay less than perfect. At the Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana exciting renovations are underway to provide guests with an incredible new resort experience. These renovations are closely monitored and do not impede guest amenities. We can confirm that we are not under construction, the Nickelodeon Punta Cana provides all the services of the gourmet inclusive experience. Yes we are in renovations of new areas that do not impede the fun and complete offer hotel experience. It is very disappointing to hear that your experiences did not live up to expectations. We can assure you that your experiences are not reflective of dining experiences and unique Gourmet Inclusive experience we offer to our guests.We hope to have an opportunity to host you once again in the future, so that we may provide you with the stay you had envisioned.

The food options were terrible and the wait for these restaurants were even worst. I think they take advantage of the fact that’s it’s a kids resort and give very basic dining options. The food at the Sugarcane which is main buffet was mediocre. Wok Wok was ok and Burger restaurant wasn’t that good. The Spacewalk is the only restaurant you need a reservation for and that wasn’t even worth it. I do suggest getting the steak at Spacewalker which is probably the best meal my husband had. Room service food options sucked. We have been to Beaches in Turks and this place doesn’t even compare. I also really didn’t care that on certain days the larger water park had certain sections closed off. Beware that Karisma travel club will give you a few discounts for character breakfast /gift shop so they can convince you into joining their travel club. If your looking to go to the beach and get in the water forget it the waves were to strong. The pool was nice, the resort was clean for the most part with the exception of my husband saying the men’s bathroom was horribly nasty. All in all I won’t be going back but atleast my 3 yr old enjoyed getting slimed and Pajama Jam breakfast.

Terrible service. We ran out of toilet paper and I called the concierge for some, i waited 2 hours and no one came with the toilet paper, in-between that time i called another 2 times to see how long it would take and each time was told its on the way. I had to flag down one of the house keepers in the hallway for toilet paper. Also on our last day i called for someone to help us with our bags at 11am as our bus was coming to pick us up for the airport at 12, i was told someone would be coming right away, no one came until 11:50 and i called a couple times in-between because i didn't want to miss our bus. I had to bring our suitcases downstairs in multiple trips waiting for someone to come help us with our bags. Horrible service. The resort makes you pay for a lot of additional services that are not worth it, for example they had a ninja turtles dinner where the characters come around while you're eating, it's just a photo opp where they basically interrupt you while you're eating too take photos with bad lighting, each adult is $89 and each child is $79- the food is horrible so it's not even worth it.

We had a great trip, but had inconsistent hot water. They also really have to change the shampoo options because my hair really didn’t feel clean after showers. The pools were lovely, beach had very soft sand, and resort had fun activities for the kids.

We had terrible experience for two days in room no hot water,no pressure in water. After complaining several timethey did not offer alternative. Desk staff was non cooperative. Wehave asked to celebrate my daughter's anniversary for by putting banners and cupcakes in her room. After several visit to concierge did not happen.

The resort has no variety in the food, it is very monotonous and you get bored of the same food, I consider the food to be bad, and the hot water and pressure is poor, for all the other extra things they charge a lot of money
