Restaurant, pool and patio were terrific, very accessible and inviting. The staff at the Rosita Hotel were very accommodating and pleasant. We arrived 4 hours before check-in and were able to have our bags securely stored while we dined in the restaurant. They had our ocean view room ready for us within 2 hours of our arrival. We were extremely happy with our room and would definitely go back to this hotel.

We really loved our night at the Hotel Rosita. We’d been in MX for 4 months and this was a beautiful way to wrap up our time there. Location is awesome, the hotel is beautiful, staff is friendly and helpful and the view from our balcony was ….. delightful! Beautiful sunset over the ocean. I highly recommend this hotel ❤️

Loved the proximity to the Malecon and ocean, the history of this hotel coupled with the architecture was beautiful and unique. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely stay again.

First time in Puerto Vallarta so the location was good to get around romantic zone and Centro.We had an ocean view and a big patio. Nothing fancy it is an old hotel built in 1948. Convenient to the Malcon . The security was really good. Stayed 4 nights

Rooms were recently updated. Sliding glass doors to balcony were very sound proof. Room was large with plenty of storage space. Great ocean views. Excellent location.

We had requested a patio to sit out on at point of booking and was prepared to pay more but nothing. I particularly liked the smallness of the hotel. Staff were very pleasant and friendly in all areas

Old Mexican charm just off the Malecon. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows could use an upgrade, they were too small and pretty flat. The hotel had a very nice unheated pool that felt great after a long day of walking. Lots of dining and shopping options right outside the hotel's front door. Also, across the street is a taxi cab stand.

Not only was I not offered an upgrade, I was turned down when I asked about it. They wanted us to wear lime-green bracelets during our four day, stay. Uh no, I dont want to wear that as I'm walking all over the city. (This is not an all inclusive resort). After the surliness of the check in staff, we made it to our room, what a disappointment! Small, the bed was a joke, no drawers or closet space to put clothes away. The facilities and furnishings were outdated. The FREE breakfast was horrible, they kept asking if we wanted to purchase anything. I didnt mind coffee, fruit, and bread. But they were rude about it and said you can only get one fruit, you better like papaya!!! Other tables were treated well for ordering from the menu. The worst moment of our entire experience came when they knocked on our door to clean because the wind blew away the Do Not Disturb sign. We politely said no thank you. I told my husband to put the sign, but he said once housekeeping passes by no one else should knock. We were celebrating our 21st anniversary, so we needed our privacy, within 30 minutes we had a male worker knocking on our door!!! He said he needed access to our room to check on our balcony door. I yelled out to him, "we are not dressed, but not to bother coming back, you can check the door AFTER we check out!!". Never again! ¡Pésimo servicio!

They have a lovely open-air, shaded seating area around between the lobby, pool and restaurant where the ocean breeze wafting through and a gurgling fountain provide a very pleasant atmosphere for taking a break from the hot sun, sitting and reading, or chatting with fellow guests.

Loved the location of the hotel. The house keeping did a great job with cleaning the room every day. Wasn't impressed with the service you got for the restaurant. The breakfast that came with the room every morning was delicious.

Property is a great location, room were average and clean for an older hotel ,the free breakfast was ok but the servers in restaurant were not very nice ,they would roam around aimlessly you might sit for 15 min before they would acknowledge you never making eye contact

I think free coffee an fruit was nice,but the waiters and waitresses that work in restaurant have no idea whats happening you might wait 15 min at a table while they'd walk around you never make eye contact you or acknowledge you in any way not real friendly at all

We recently stayed at Rosita hotel...great location. Staff is excellent. Very clean. We like the fact that it is a quiet hotel alot of people 50 and up...some younger families as well... everything was great. Some improvement in food department would be nice...the food is meh so so not the best. Ok for a quick breakfast but there are plenty of other better breakfast establishments around

My only positive comments is that the beds are very good, there is a water jug in each room with 2 plastic glasses so you can access a big bottle of water on each floor and the location is excellent. Otherwise I cannot this recommend this property.

In a good location for walking around - right on the Malecon. Room had no dressers, no hair dryer. We faced the main street - very noisy at night. Had to use our bath towels for the pool area. Staff was very friendly.
