The team at Dolce Vita are very lovely! As with the rest of our trip, Filipino hospitality is unparalleled. We booked our king room without breakfast but ended up having all of our breakfast meals there anyway. It was very convenient, delicious and affordable. I had a traditional breakfast with tocino and my husband had French toast. Instant coffee and cream — would’ve preferred regular cream but that doesn’t seem to be the norm in the Philippines. Our room was clean and well kept. A few things to highlight — they only provide one pillow for each guest, the safety deposit box is tiny, dated and did not work. You will not be able to store your electronics away. Although the place was built in 2006 (if my understanding is correct) the decor is very dated — if that’s important to you. If you’re situated on the second floor you’ll have to go up a spiral staircase which may be dangerous. I’d note this when booking. The pool was nice to cool off — quite literally as the water was cold. The location was tucked away but the tricycle stand was just at the end of the next street so it was convenient. Overall, great value for the price. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

All staff were great! The place is run down and desperately needs to be upgraded, dont believe the pictures! On-site restaurant prices are high and food is sub par. A 2 star stay at most. Much better places around the area for you pay for!

Great for small groups.
It is a great location. We had a room that would sleep 6 people (two bunk beds and two single beds). The toilet is separate to the shower which was very convenient. Room is very spacious meaning despite the luggage etc it never felt cramped. The breakfast served near the pool is great. Only a five to ten minute tricycle ride into town where lots of choices for dinner.

Ok pool, uncomfortable rooms
Its a average hotel. The area to lounge around the pool is very small but pool is nice if not busy. The restaurant is ok, breakfast is cook to order. The wifi in the annex rooms is very weak so have to sit in the restaurant. Shower hot water does not last for more than a few minutes. The pillows are very thin.

Amazing decoration with recycled materials. Many choices for breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. A very good choice for budget travelers or travelers who like tranquility.

Enoyable Stay
We totally enjoyed our visit. The staff was outstanding, facilities were clean and well kept, food and bar were of high quality and good value. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. Airport pick up is a nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

The air con did not work so the room was excruciatingly hot all night which made for a poor night sleep. Shower curtain was old and mouldy, Poor breakfast, 1 egg, no real fruit juice or fruit.

A Place Like Home
It was perfect place to collapse after our 3 days from El Nido. Its like home sweet home. We rested and went out again to watch the firefly, had dinner and return to the hotel for a swim. The place is amazing, and the quality off service was superb, beautiful breakfast, Location is perfect and quiet._

The hotel is cozy and cute, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was always attentive. The stay included breakfast and airport pick up and transfer which was very convenient. The food was actually pretty good at the restaurant. We only stayed here over night before our trip to el nido, and the concierge lady was very helpful in helping us arrange a town tour for the day, as well as a tour to the underground river AND arranged for us all the transportation for us to be picked up by a van (with the luggage) after the tour, so we wouldn't have to drive back to the hotel or carry our luggage around. She was amazing (im sorry i cant rememeber her name ;-( ). I would recommend this place for a short stay. The room are not fancy, they are basic, but are comfortable and clean, and the hotel is cute and relaxing.

Dolce Vita imbues how Puerto Princesa was before all the development surged. There's a nostalgic feeling - when people were more well-mannered, more genuine, less money-driven. Despite being located in a busy part of the city, Dolce Vita has this serene ambiance. If you wish for some peace and quiet but near conveniences found in the city this is the place to be. Just request not to be housed near the water pump as it's the only noisy thing there.

Overall Dolce Vita was a wonderful hotel to stay at. The trees and cabana give the courtyard a relaxing environment. The meals Dolce Vita provided were all very good. Their lunch and dinner menus were also very reasonably priced. All the staff that my wife and I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Overall I would say I had a 4.5 star experience!

Quiet Charm
Absolutely LOVED this place!!! The decor of the guest rooms especially, as well as the bar/restaurant, the grounds and the lobby we're traditional with the odd Dolce Vita fountain, and a decently sized pool. The pick up to and drop off at the hotel was very convenient. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious! A hearty breakfast included.
