TERRIBLE! AWFUL! WORST RESORT EVER! Customer service is nonexistent at this resort! First of all, it wouldn’t hurt if they occasionally smiled! They certainly do not know how to apologize! My flight was delayed so I could not get there until the next day. I called and spoke with someone at their front desk, and they said no problem, no problem at all, we will see you tomorrow. I arrive and they had canceled my reservation and given away our room! They finally gave us a terrible, old, filthy 2 double bed room. We had paid for a Superior King VIP room. Went back and complained and they said come back tomorrow at 3:00. We were at the desk at 2:40 and they said no problem, our new room would be ready at 3:00. We came back and they had already given that room away! So we waited another hour for another room. This resort is old and in need of many repairs! The food is awful and the same every day. The wait staff is ok, but the cooks are not friendly at all. They act like you are wasting their time. Room cleaners are terrible. They say they will clean your room while we are gone to eat, or to the beach, but they never did. Our room was cleaned and sheets changed only once the whole week. We never did get the VIP towels that were supposed to be in the room. We finally had to get a couple blue towels another way. Unemployment is so high in the DR, they should fire half the staff. They could have 100 new people anxious to work the next day! Horribly mis-managed!! TERRIBLE RESORT!!
