Reservation made for a 5 nights 6 days, with check out scheduled for 4/29/24. When I checked in, there has been so many hiccups, sub standard and definitely not a 5 star certified issues.
When I checked in I was assigned room 5105, upon entering room, I was met with very foul musty smell, unbearable humidity, mold, mildew all over the bathroom, chipped paint, a outright dirty and filthy, unacceptable room. The room was about 95 degrees and the A/C was not working. My body was engulfed by my perspiration. I contacted the front desk and was told they are trying to fix the issue and that I was not the only one having that issue, as if I should just relax, don’t complain and pelt in the heat. I asked for a room change because I couldn’t stand the heat and it was causing my asthma to exacerbate. It was not until I was having a full asthma attack and begging to leave that I was given another room. When I got to that room, let me say it was cool. The A/C was working, but for goodness sake! this room was just as dirty, nasty and repulsive. I had to request another room change. This is soo upsetting and frustrating; I couldn’t seem to get settle in and enjoy my vacation. I am on vacation and as a paying guest I should not be subjected to this, this is unacceptable! I am soo disappointed, I thought your 5 star reviews carried weight but there is nothing 5 star about this hotel. Let me say after contacting management, nothing really was done. Such a bitter taste in my mouth.
