Great experience especially their staffs are all very friendly and kind. Food choices are well, although we have some stomach problems, probably better to stay with meat instead of seafood options. Pools and beach area are very kids friendly, room is always clean and tidy. Check in and out are easy. Night shows are also interesting and enjoyable. All the hotel staffs put in a lot of effort to make this resort a memorable place for families. The resort is close to key attractions in Rivera Maya. We didn’t leave the resort to explore the peurto adventuras area because our children are still young, but would have been a great day activity for couples. Will go back with kids again.

We have stayed in larger resorts, which may offer more amenities, but none surpass the customer service offered by Dreams. The quality of customer service we received from the very beginning, which was before we even arrived, was simply outstanding. We have never once in all of our travels been asked what our needs might be in advance of our arrival, those needs were met as well! Yanin Rodrguez, Christiane, and Paulina were simply outstanding in their customer service through our entire stay. We were given a full explanation of the facility upon arrival, another remarkable feature.One negative was closures of 3 restaurants for private functions while we were there. Another is not enough lounge chairs on the beach, which is characteristic of every resort we’ve stayed in regardless of the Island or resort. Overall, we loved our ocean view room, housekeeping was superb; the warmth and charm of a smaller hotel was very much appreciated. We look forward to a return in the future, and would highly recommend this resort.

7/10 for me. The property was beautiful, the beach was nice, spa was enjoyable, comfy rooms and the staff were excellent, especially Paulina. The problem for us (and others we talked to) was the food. It was very inconsistent, you’d get one thing one day, something the next and would be different portions or flavor (also applies to drinks). The food was hardly ever hot and things that were supposed to be crispy seemed like they sat for a while. I also did not like the pool food options, especially for preferred side. I’ve never been to a Mexican resort with limited Mexican food and just an awful pool menu. I don’t want hamburgers, hot dogs and 4 other not great options when I’m on vacation. I also felt that for lunch there should be no problem ordering from the Oceana menu to have at the pool. Having to go in and sit for nachos is weird. To be honest the food alone in the whole resort would deter me from coming back, which is a bummer because they have a lot of restaurant choices for being a smaller resort. We talked to others who frequent Dreams and said it was better before Hyatt bought them. I also wish there was a way for preferred members to get top shelf alcohol at the restaurants or other bars. Overall we did have a good stay, but there needs to be some improvements.

There are many things. Not a 5 star. Place was dated. 4 Star at best. We had construction going outside our room several times. We had chunks of concrete on our deck several times. English was horrible I. The resort very hard to communicate especially in the pharmacy she spoke NO ENGLISH. Place was way ver priced. We have stayed at many places that we have paid less money and are alot nicer. Service was not great either. Had to keep bugging people to get things done. All in all would never go back. Spend your money elsewhere.

Came here for a wedding recently, property is very sub par and staff are very inattentive. Its had a refresh but its paint on paint on paint. Food is just average. Resort as a whole is very noisy so if you like to party this is the place for you. If it’s just you and your spouse maybe look elsewhere.

We usually like Dreams and feel the extra cost is worth it. In this case this small hotel is tired and i need of updates. The ‘preferred’ check in is 2 desks on the 7th floor. The preferred club lounge feels like an outdates airport lounge. Then we were sent down to floor 5 which was not preferred. I asked to transfer hotels but they were all booked due to spring break. The management did upgrade us to the preferred floor. The room had an ocean view and was bigger. Management also booked us bali beds daily. Thank goodness for little touches from individuals because the hotel didnt feel worthy of what we expect from Dreams and would have us think twice about Expedia VIP and Dreams in the future

From the moment we got to the resort we were met with wonderful hospitality. We booked though Expedia and they upgraded us to Priority for free which meant we had access to a private pool, restaurant, and spa which guest without priority do not. Albuerto was our concierge and he was fantastic! This resort was very theraputic, relaxing, and intimate. It was also in its own gated community which had many amenities. The biggest con of this resort was the food, and beach. If you are looking for high quality of either of the prior mentioned this may not be the place for you however we were able to look past that due to the amazing staff and the vibe the resort had. Extremely clean and wonderful entertainment at night, this is a small resort compared to other options, so you will not get the big party experience but rather meet some people you might run into once a day. I would recommend this resort for individuals with young children who may want to try out an all inclusive resort but not worry about getting lost or having to walk a mile to get to your room/bathroom, or couples who are looking for a more low-key vacation experience.

The resort is nice. Beautiful resort.the resort needs to come up with activities and more to do after 11pm. Is dead after that, not alot for you to do besides to go to sleep. The food was my main issue. A group of 12 And more Than half of my group got sick. The Patio Restaurant was the worst unfortunately.

The staff was exceptional! They were always so helpful and would even walk you to wherever you were asking for directions. The restaurants were also very good and had a great variety. We loved el patio Mexican restaurant. Staff was amazing. We went 01/03 around 6:30 and I think her name was Elba and waiter Fernando were the best. The chef came out to ask how the food was and the tortilla soup and fajitas the best!

Stayed for five days with two adults, two teens. The staff is very friendly with good English skills. The property isn’t new but rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food was very good at El Patio, middle of the road elsewhere. Fun little shows, lots of chairs available at the pool and beach. Neighborhood was fun to walk around. Hotel beach is very shallow but good for little kids, we liked the natural pool a lot. It never felt too crowded. Spa was nice, well-equipped gym, and the small size of the resort plus extra friendly staff made it feel very manageable. Great place for younger kids, good accessibility for people with disabilities. We liked it a lot

I would review this resort as just okay, not great but not bad. We found the staff friendly, most of the food was quite good and the shows weren't bad. The location was good for excursions but if you're looking for a nice beach go elsewhere. The two biggest issues were housekeeping and room service. The housekeeping was good for 3 days and then it got really bad. Always missing water and towels , counters not wiped and just overall bad service, we were on the preferred side too so we expected better. You had to order room service hours in advance to get it at a specific time and it closes at 11 but they won't take any orders passed 10 and there is nowhere else to eat. Overall, we expected better and will stay elsewhere on our next vacation.

The staff here really go above and beyond. The hospitality was spectacular. Highly recommend for service staff at the pools, the restaurants, especially the concierges, so many to help, very much appreciated!! The food is decent. No complaints for what it is, nothing knocked it out of the park for me. I have celiac disease though, so the gluten free options are very limited for me. Definitely more a family oriented property. Great options for excursions at the hotel. Great hotel for kids and families. The Preferred upgrade is definitely nice. You get the private pool and restaurant which is much more quiet than the main pool areas with all the families. Overall recommend, the staff is top notch. It's a boutique resort with only 300 rooms on a marina and golf community so very walkable with shops and restaurants and airbnbs and rentals. VERY SAFE!

I took my wife for her birthday and she instantly fell in love. The staff was excellent the food was better the most resorts and the facilities was very clean. Also lots of tequila!! Highly recommend hotel. She had a private dinner for her birthday and they created a special menu just for her exactly what she wanted. Thank you for the hospitality can’t wait till next time.

First time at Dreams. The room was beautiful, staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The property was beautiful and the bar by the lagoon and the lagoon itself was amazing. Great spa with excellent massages. How nice to not get a receipt for every single thing. We even had incense in the bathroom. I will look for another Dreams property next time we vacation.

Fun trip to Puerto Aventuras and a stay at Dreams Aventuras. Have made several trips to Cancun, Akumal and Tulum and this was our favorite resort by far. What we liked: *Size - resort was not gigantic by any means. One building for all guests and did't have to walk 10 minutes to get to the pool, beach, restaurants, etc. - not that we mind walking by any means. It just gave the resort a more quaint feel. *Restaurants - all restaurants were fantastic. Loved El Patio the most. Bonus is that you don't need reservations like other resorts require. If they're busy, they'll alert you when your table is ready. And even though the resort has dress codes for all of the restaurants, as long as you look decent, you can wear whatever. *Staff - cannot say enough about the staff. All very helpful and personable - without feeling patronizing. We did have to contact front desk and housekeeping a couple of times for minor needs. However, they were on it within minutes. Every person we spoke to was fantastic. Standout people were Paulina in the preferred area and Ronnier at the Bell Caption station. *Preferred Area - we upgraded to the preferred area and used the pool, bar and dining areas provided. All were great and convenient. We also used the entire resort and accommodations. So not going preferred would also have been fine. *Entertainment and Activities - beach entertainment was wonderful and each night had a different theme. Fire Shows, Mariachi Bands, Beach Dining and more were all part

My wife and I came here to Dreams Adventuras for our honeymoon just recently and absolutely loved our stay. The quality of the food was amazing and all staff members were extremely friendly! The facility is clean and a perfect place to vacation for whatever occasion you are traveling for. Very big thank you to the entertainment team at Dreams Adventuras who made sure there was never a dull moment. I recommend this resort for family and friends and strongly recommend making friends with the entertainment team Ramon, Sebastian, Luigi, Gabby, Marco, and Julio! They will make sure you have a memorable stay.

Resort was very small, not many activities of at all besides 2 my entire stay, rooms have to be kept very cold because they are very moist! Beds and clothes were damp. Food was soso, staff barely speaks English and if they can’t understand you your order will never come out, juices and sodas are too sweet or flat, for preferred top shelf we had to go to a different location other than the public which was only 2 designated areas. Overall nice space but wouldn’t stay here again. Negative’s definitely outweighed the positive.

PLEASE READ. Worst vacation ever. HOTEL designated for the locals and their families to use. Not a resort, just a hotel with 1 small pool. Other pool sanctioned off for "preferred" customers. WE opted for preferred and it included a lousy 7th floor exclusive area that was a joke. Hydrotherapy was promised and never delivered. Only 2 restaurants open. DO NOT do the presentation, as they will promise you spa, romantic dinner, LEISURE CASH-that you cannot use. We argued back and forth with staff to get what was promised. Mass confusion with all staff, lack of communication. The SIP SAVOR AND DINE ANYWHERE is false advertising, because they will NOT allow you to go to ANY SECRETS resorts for the night because Secrets resorts are a level up. And NO DAY PASSES either. NO ENTERTAINMENT. BORED. No TRUE BEACH. GIANT RATS roamed the beach area jumping on people. Locals used the small beach to play soccer. Food was basic and on repeat the whole week. This was a CATFISH. I RECOMMEND YOU GO ELSEWHERE.

We upgraded to a Hot tub room and the Hot Tub did not work in our 1st room, then we upgraded to the Presidential suite on the top floor for an extra $700.00. And that Hot tub had only the side jets working, and the tub would not hold water do to the plug. They say they have 6 Restaurants, but they are not all open. The Mexican Restaurant was only open 1 or 2 days out of 9 night stay. The rest was hit and miss with a very small selections to choose from. The Pool swim up Bars could be cleaner. The grout should have been white, but had black growing in a lot of it.

This property was uniquely situated in a private community which made me feel super safe. It was clean and the staff was very professional. It’s a small resort which was fine enough to feel more exclusive. The food was just okay but the drinks were solid. Getting room service in the morning is nearly impossible. Other than that I was happy here .
