"A home away from home. Inge and Rose have made their vision a mission to cater to guests. A true relaxing Shangri la. Exceptionally clean and superbly appointed. The use linens that have been in Inge's family for 3 generations. A 5min walk to the best public beach I've ever seen (even after many beaches in the Greek islands). Breakfast is amazing. "I like the comfortable luxury of this quiet little resort. Service was superb and facilities are very nice. The only issue we had were mosquitos swarms that covered the whole island for the last 3 of our 6 night stay. They were everywhere, including the beach and restaurants. In researching why, I found the local government had been hoodwinked into paying a biotech company to release millions of mosquitoes. The hope is to reduce mosquito in the future, but it certainly is at the expense of tourist and the natural environment. While this decision to release millions of mosquitoes is not on Little Dix, it would have helped to have screen porches. There simple was not a place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Water activities were safe during the day, but by 4pm, the biotech mosquitoes were large and in charge of the whole island. "
