Hotel Pod Vezi was a real find for us. The location, just a few steps from the Charles Bridge, is fantastic. I can't say enough about the hotel staff, which was friendly and helpful in every way they could be. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included a very nice selection. My only criticism would be the quality of the bed pillows, which were soft and unsupportive. When we come back to Prague one day, we will stay again at Pod Vezi.

The location near the Charles Bridge and public transportation was great. The room was very comfortable. The men at the front desk were very helpful, informative and courteous. The breakfast and adjacent Crepe restaurant were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything about this hotel. Our room was in the annex building just across from the main hotel. It was super quiet but right in the heart of things. Restaurant was very good, included breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, including meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, waffles, etc. Walkable to the palace as well as Old Town. Every day the staff puts a little gift of a candy, cookie or some other small treat in the room. Staff provided wonderful dining and tour recommendations.

We loved our stay at Pod Vezi. Our room was immaculate. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They offered great recommendations on things to do and hooked us up with a wonderful walking tour. Especially appreciated arranging a ride for us to and from the train station. The morning breakfast was delightful.

The location of this property is truly unbeatable with many of the sites you want to visit in Prague within easy walking distance. Our room was nice, but a little musty smelling initially. Once we got the AC going, it improved quite a lot. The staff are amazing, positive, and very helpful. The restaurant is nice and the food very good. Even the driver they arranged for us was outstanding. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! The staff are wonderful. Our room was very large by European standards and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and delicious each morning and the location can’t be beat. The front desk was very helpful and kind. I will definitely stay here again!

I found the location to be very desirable. It is across the street from the Charles Bridge base in Lesser Prague which you are likely to be crossing somehow. It was centrally located to the sites I wanted to visit. During late winter, the room was always nice and toasty. Also, their youthful staff is energetic and service-focused which is very desirable when that is lacking in other experiences.

Chose Hotel Pod Vezi for its great reviews and it lived up to our expectations. Fantastic location just a few metres from the Charles Bridge and yet quiet enough to have the windows open at night (bearing in mind this was a February visit with lower numbers of visitors than in the height of season). Our room was in the Annexe which was less than 30 seconds from the main hotel. The Annexe is an old building but the room itself was modern, large and well-appointed with a spacious bathroom. The bed was comfortable and my only gripe was the pillows which were synthetic and due for replacing. There were nice touches and a little gift left for us each day. The breakfasts were excellent - a blend of Czech and international offerings to suit most tastes and the prosecco / Buck's Fizz was a lovely addition although we never actually felt the need to start the day with fizz! The staff were delightful - friendly and helpful and our free admission to the tower by the hotel was a great place to start out sightseeing with its tremendous, panoramic views over the Charles Bridge and city. All in, I couldn't imagine a better hotel for a short city break in Prague!

The hotel is perfectly placed at the foot of Charles Bridge so you are in the heart of the city. The breakfast was also fantastic and so convenient being right on property you can have more time for wandering the sites. I would highly recommend it!

Hotel Pod Vezi is a characterful, old building. Our room was very large, with a separate dressing area, two arm chairs and two desks with chairs. Plenty of storage space. Pre-stay communication was excellent. Staff were very helpful, arranging cars to and from the airport, and a walking tour with Michal, who was excellent - knowledgeable and keeping us away from the overpriced shops and weed shops aimed at the undiscriminating tourist. They also steered us to ATMs without massive commission charges. The hotel is situated by the tower at the end of the Charles Bridge (the hotel name means 'under the tower') Breakfast had a good range of foodstuffs and was pleasant. Price was very reasonable. All in all a lucky choice - don't think we could have done better.

The pod vezi stay was excellent. Hotel price was very good, the location was perfect for us as just across the Charles bridge. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Lots of advice and useful pointers. Hotel was very clean and our hotel room was great (we were in main hotel but other accommodation is right across the street). Breakfast was lovely and we obtain a few gifts throughout our stay one being a free pass to the tower right outside the hotel that gave a Birds Eye view of the famous bridge and surrounding Prague city view. Prague is a beautiful city. I would highly recommend this hotel.
