The property is very nice and clean and the he staff are very nice. We walked a lot of places but right outside the hotel to the right are a lot of homeless people under the bridge begging for money.

I liked how the pool was tucked in behind and was pretty private. Everything was clean, breakfast was good.

Right across the street from the minor league baseball team stadium. Further down there is a park that we were worried about while driving through. Saw someone get assaulted, drugs, homeless were everywhere, but once you crossed the major intersection, families were out walking with children. A stark difference. Luckily the hotel was far enough away from the homeless park that it wasn't an issue, but driving there from downtown Portland, we were very worried. Hotel was nice.

Nice property friendly staff. Limited TV channels but it's a hotel so not complaining just noting. Decent basic gym. Breakfast so-so though very basic. Would stay again when all is said.

We were greeted nicely. The reservations were recorded, so check in was a breeze. Directions given to where we wanted to go were perfect. Breakfast was nice. Checkout was easy.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great. However, my room was not cleaned very well at all. There were strands of another woman's hair all over the pillow cases on almost every pillow, both sides. There were also crusted stains on the one side of the sheet. Disgusting.

The room was quite spacious and really liked the recliner in the room. Slightly limited choices for breakfast (2 types of cereal plus oatmeal; two types of bread; scrambled eggs and sausage links, 2 flavors of yogurt, orange juice and make your own waffles; along with just a few pieces of fruit to choose from.)

Would like to have been able to either buy small bottles of wine or some type of wine or spike seltzer at their little convenience store within the hotel. They do not have any type of bar service. Mainly My only complaint and maybe more of a suggestion than a complaint for future travelers

It was a decent hotel all in all, seemed like thin walls could hear everything throughout the entire floor. One thing that still seems odd to me is this weird policy they have with smoke detection devices. Apparently they have these devices in the rooms and if they go off your charger $250, no questions asked no more looking into things just right away charged double the price of the room. To me it seemed like they randomly just choose people to make pay this. Also the maps apps says its permanently closed so definitely not a good tell for business.

Hi Jesse,Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this review.We do work with a third party company that are responsible for the smoke/vaping sensors in our guest rooms, which if set off, will provide an activity log for our guests to review and dispute if needed. It is indeed not a random way to charge, as there is data for our guest records and ours as well.We looked onto various GPS systems, and see that our business is listed correctly and accurately. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

I always stay at La Quinta and it's usually clean with confortable beds. Great Location. This time the shower wasn't clean to my standards, the shower area had hairs on the walls, soap dispenser, and floors; overall, was a good stay.
