The area is sketchy. There were no lite up signs with hotel to see where to pull in at i was assured next week they are getting new ones they are putting up. So right off Its pitch dark out, then theres sketchy things outside of hotel are off grounds. Thankfully inside hotel we had no issues. Just not a great part of the area to stay at.Not being from the area it was really freaky. They are switching to a different company so they had construction going on. Breakfast was over by 9. We had expected it to run until 10. They got new coffee cups and they leaked. I had the entire bottom of my coffee blew out and toasted my arm a bit. Then my daughters started to leak out as well. I did tell the staff and she was very kind and sympathetic and said she would have the cups switched out. All in all we were happy to get some well needed sleep

I would never recommend this property to anyone going to Oregon. We had the WORST experience ever and won’t ever go back. The hotel was under renovation. Construction started at 7am and lasted till 8pm. There was blood on our bath towel, their breakfast was nothing like pictured. No swimming pool like it said on the website, they filled the pool already with cement. No cable the entire weekend but upon checking in we were told the issue was almost fixed. Overall a terrible place.

The room was clean and spacious, so I'm likely to stay there again with my family. The property was under renovation, but it didn't impact operation. I look forward to seeing the completed renovation at the property.

Didn’t feel safe. Homeless people very close by shooting up just outside the parking lot. No breakfast even though they said there was a grab n go. Construction inside the hotel and paper thin walls.

We definitely got catfished! Traveler beware! This was a pretty disappointing choice. Nowhere on this Expedia listing does it state this hotel is nowhere near finished. It appears they just bought this old run down best western and are in the very beginning stages of renovation. Construction seems so new they do not even have a name up on the front of the hotel which also made it confusing to find. It’s in a strip mall type area off the freeway partially sharing a lot with the Lowe’s and numerous abandoned restaurants/buildings. The unhoused take up Most of the area and are wandering throughout the parking lot if that’s an issue for you. Safely felt a bit concerning… On to the actual room/hotel.. Exposed walls, unfinished ceilings, ice machine broken, beds terribly hard as a rock. The shower was peeling and old, the bathroom was dirty and musty as the ventilation is non existent. It seems they only have up put a nice shiny painting on the wall and added weirdly fridge/sink/ makeshift stove area that judging by the description on the key.. is a 500$ fee if you cook in the room ? This place honestly shouldn’t be operating at the current state. There also is no “gym” as it seemed like a dirty dusty room filled with spare miscellaneous construction items everywhere. There also was a family friendly lounge advertised.. but don’t be surprised as we didn’t find such a place. I would say steer clear, save your money even if it appears to be a good deal.

The overall property is brand new and under construction the property has Security male and female that are in a vehicle and periodically drive-through as far as continental breakfasts work, you must get there early. And as far as the drug epidemic is concerned, there are bumps in the neighborhood, but not on the property. I like that my hotel had a full size, refrigerator and place to cook.

It is going to be beautiful once the renovations are done. I was aware there was construction happening and still went and was still able to sleep. Was disappointed about breakfast, not going to lie. I had called two days prior to ask what kind of breakfast they had and was told they had a full breakfast and the day I got there I was told breakfast was now grab and go. I even mentioned that I had called and the girl said it had just started that day. Did not like that at all.

The hotel is in declining condition, but they are working on renovation. Staff work hard to make guests happy. Many sketchy people lurking - the neighborhood is like a scene from the Walking Dead.

Unfortuantly we have a huge homeless issue all over in the Portland area. We do staff security throughout the day to ensure guest and guest are safe but we have no control of the whole Portland area surrounding us. Mediocre at best
Location was terrible, next to shut down businesses and has a problem with vagrants. Interior felt dirty, and every ice machine on every floor was “out of order” yet they were selling ice out of a cooler at the front? Lol. The heater in out first room was broken so they moved us to the room next door. Turned it on and it smelled of urine. Won’t be staying here EVER again. 0.5/10 since the employees were kind.

Unfortuantly we have a huge homeless issue all over in the Portland area. We do staff security throughout the day to ensure guest and guest belonging are safe. I am sorry you experienced our only ice machine was out of order during your stay, while we were waiting for a technician to come to our site during the busy holiday season. We did have FREE ice in the lobby freezer for all guest. Thank you for letting the front desk know about your heater issue in the 1st room so we could move you to another room right away. Hope you will consider staying will us in the future for a better experience.

Staff was great! Excellent breakfast with a pancake machine!!! A few little glitches but it was handled quickly and efficiently by the staff. Not a fan of the area as there are a lot of homeless people and not much nearby - wouldnt feel safe walking. Overall good value!!

Bait & Switched by Best Western
This hotel felt like a bait & switch. I spent a good bit online finding hotels that look decent in the area I needed to stay in. Found the “inn at the meadows” best western and felt the pictures fit what I was looking for. Upon arriving they put me in the only room on my floor with construction work next to the door, put a family of four with 2 screaming kids next door in a nearly empty hotel, found crumbs still on the floor items still in the drawers and an overall overwhelmingly uncomfortable room and environment. Probably decent enough to pass through in, but wouldn’t recommend if you’re doing more than simply sleeping in it.

we needed a quick hotel that was right off the road, so we didn't have to go into portland. the road to get to the hotel is a little sketchy, and the hotel itself was very hard to find. took us 5/10 mins to find the way into the parking lot. once we got there, the front desk lady was so nice. the hotel was very clean. our room was giant. water pressure in the shower sucked, but all hotels do tbh. the breakfast was delicious. for a quick stop, that was fairly cheap, i would stay there again in needed too.

Staff was all super friendly and accommodating, but somehow missed cleaning service on the last night. Area around the hotel was a little sketchy but felt secure once inside. Construction left some dust around but remarkably quiet despite them being actively working on our first morning on property. Convenient to our destination so would likely stay again!
