Upon check in, I was informed that we were upgraded but seemed like a downgrade when we entered our room. We got a view of the wall on the 8th floor. Felt like being in a jail cell with that wall view. Bathroom floor and shower floors had lots of hairs from previous guest so it was gross. We were too tired from a long drive to make a complaint and move to another room. The central location is the only redeeming factor of this hotel, plus the kind staff in the bar who gave me hot water when I requested. She kindly put it in a thermos and gave me mugs to bring to my room. The two ladies at the reception looked at me as if I have three heads when I asked for a kettle to make hot water. Have they never heard of this simple household device used by humans for centuries?? Overall, will not recommend. There are better hotels in the vicinity that gives better value for your hard-earned money.
