"I had high expectations for this hotel. I chose it based on reviews and price (fairly high) I love a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, other than the price I would not consider this a luxury hotel. The decor is kitchy, dated, and way overdone. To me everything just seemed to be trying too hard and it all missed the mark. The upstairs restaurant was also over-done decor-wise and the food was tortured and complicated without being particularly good. Everything just came off as thirsty and cheap rather than high quality or luxurious. I cant explain it, but when you know you know.
If you don't care about decor or vibes, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location and service are fine. Do park yourself though, lots are cheap just 1/2 block away."
