The hotel looked as though it was hundreds of years old, but had been updated so all the amenities were up to date. The hallways had great classic artwork and the view from our room was beautiful. All the people working there were extremely friendly and it was very convenient to walk to the water, restaurants and shopping. My wife thought the bed was the mist comfortable she had slept in for a long time.

Great stay - lovely pool area.
Staff very efficient. Ordered a taxi for us even though way before we checked in. Good parking and location. Bathroom huge. Nice to sit by pool in the afternoon. Towels from front desk. Breakfast expensive so went to local coffee shop. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

El Parador ha sido una experiencia inolvidable, en un lugar con mucho encanto y con una localización excelente en el casco antiguo de Cambados. Totalmente recomendable.

What you expect from a parador
Good location a few minutes walk to the main square. Convenient and easy parking outside. The rooms, service and breakfast excellent.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Cambados . Our room was very spacious and airy , loads of wardrobe space, big well equipped bathroom and very comfortable beds with high quality bed linen . Very nice courtyard area with fountain for drinks etc. Pool area very pleasant and quiet , unfortunately loungers were very old and shabby , some new seating seems to have been introduced so hopefully they will be replaced soon ! This is a traditional hotel with great character and we look forward to staying there again.

Royalty for a Day
Amazing! We especially appreciated the lush surroundings, closeness to the shoreline, the restoration of the building to maintain its historic beauty and yet provide all the modern comforts, and the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was the best of our trip, with a wide array of choices and little pots of coffee and hot milk brought to the table. Parking was a breeze. The only tiny issue: we missed the turn the first time by and had to loop back around. A larger “Parador ->” sign would be helpful!

Quiet Parador
The Cambados Parador was located in the middle of town. Nice palace. We had a standard room. It was clean quiet and comfortable. The beds and bathroom are starting to show their age. Breakfast was adequate. Service always seems short staffed but they were nice enough. Solid choice to explore the area, as are most of the Paradors. Would stay again.

Pleasant stay in historic parador
Very comfortable and staff were super helpful. Because this parador is on top of a hill, it has fantastic views and is very atmospheric, but it is a bit of a walk down to the town. Easy access to the Mino and Sill river valleys and the wineries of the area.

A very pleasant stay by the sea. The parador was , as expected, very comfortable and staff very helpful, but it was very quiet and being alone in the dining room isn't much fun and has absolutely no atmosphere. The streets to the right -as you walk out - are full of shops and bars and this would have been a better option for supper.

Great common spaces
There were several fantastic rooms to sit in on the first floor, in addition to the outdoor courtyard. There was cafeteria service in these areas, so,you could enjoy food and drinks there as well. Really pleasant and inviting. Staff was very friendly. Location within 5 miles of most Albariño wineries. Beautiful countryside for driving around as well. And the city is very walkable and quaint.

Well located serviceable Parador in a village with very good food nearby (including a Michelin-starred restaurant), but disinterested service. Our key ceased to function 4 times and the staff blamed up (too close to a cell phone we were told though they were kept in separate places). Convenient parking and lovely grounds with ice cold pool.

Bella struttura in linea con le aspettive che si hanno sulla catena Paradores. Ottima cena. Belle camere. Prezzo in linea con le aspettative. Unica nota nolente la posizione del Parador rispetto alla spiaggia (che è di fronte) che invece di essere uno dei punti di forza diventa un punto di debolezza per il fetore delle alghe lasciate dalla bassa marea che marciscono al sole. Purtroppo sembra che il comune non si occupi di questo problema o lo faccia solo saltuariamente

Schönes Hotel, aber kein Eingehen auf Kundenwunsch
Schönes historisches Gebäude, gute Einrichtung, meinem Wunsch kein Ergeschosszimmer zu bekommen wurde jedoch nicht entsprochen. Wir waren in einem Zimmer zum Innenhof untergebracht,im Erdegeschoss, vor dem Fenster Tische und Stühle einer Cafeteria. Für mich mit Lungenproblemen war die fehlende Möglichkeit ein Fenster zu öffnen problematisch. Der Wunsch nach einem anderen Zimmer wurde ziemlich pampig abgelehnt.

El Parador de Cambados es hermoso edificio con una gran ubicación y cómodo estacionamiento. Un poco lento el check in pero sin problemas. Habitaciones de buen tamaño, buena limpieza, muy tradicionales y no “lujosas” pero suficientemente cómodas.El desayuno bastante bueno y abundante y la persona encargada del servicio muy amable.
