"Loved this place! Our favorite location in Pokhara. A beautiful oasis with flower gardens, pool, fitness center, kayaking, amazing food, great service, right by the lake in the forest where you can watch the sun set while having a drink and smoking shisha. There is a quick 5-minute boat ride, which transfers you to the city in case of excursions, but I barely wanted to leave this beautiful peaceful location."

"This may have been the nicest place I stayed in Nepal, but I only stayed at a couple other places, and it is 4 star at best. The place itself was nice, but for shower hot water I had to call the desk each day to get them to heat up the water. The shower actually had a shower curtain, which was a positive I learned for Nepal. Also the green area in the picture is an illustion in that it is a park, not part of the property, and the lakeshore is full of litter and other garbage. I found the...

"Great stay at the Grand Holiday, the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Pokhara and getting to and from other areas if you are planning on trekking and when taking buses to different parts of Nepal. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. It's located close to the lake and far enough away from the main centre of lakeside so that it's even quieter than other parts of Pokhara.
