Great! Overall it’s great, clean, big room with the balcony, has dedicated area at the private beach for free of charge, breakfast is fabulous, location is the best.

Great Hotel and Great Location
Great hotel, very modern, lots of amenities, although the sign is misleading. The hotel that says "Mind Hotel" isn't this one, this one is actually Slovenija Hotel, about 60 meters away from the Mind Hotel (same owner though). Very good location, clean, big comfortable room with balcony, no complaints, great value! Although, when we tried to pay with Amex they claimed our card was "denied" but eventually admitted that their system was broken. Went next door to their sister hotel and was able to pay with Amex for our stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely hotel with great facilities. I found you didn't have much choice of tea and coffee facilities in our room and our bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied, but that being so we still enjoyed our visit very much.

Great! Overall it’s great, clean, has dedicated area at the beach for free of charge, breakfast is fabulous, location is the best, has great bistro/tapas. Sometimes you need to ask to refill the shampoo and conditioner.

Great experience. Just perfect !
The pools and outdoor area were amazing, breakfast was very good and quite a huge variety, lots of facilities. Room size was nice and big with big balcony and bathroom had separate bath and shower and toilet was private as well. Clean and spacious .

Lovely alternative to the pricey Kempinski next door. Very modern and comfortable rooms plus within the Therme complex. My only criticism is regarding the Bistro Tapas restaurant: far too limited menu for light meal, salads for example and quality average. Also the waiter was not so nice as the other staff on the hotel side.

Not a five star experience
This hotel is at best a 4-star. From our arrival to our departure, things did not run smoothly. We had trouble even finding the hotel because "Mind Hotel Slovenija - Lifeclass Hotels & Spa" does not match any signs on the street. (The actual name on the building is "Hotel Slovenija".) Then, at check-in we were informed about the indoor pools and the saunas available to guests. It turns out, these amenities are shared among several other hotels, and the sauna was closed. When my wife called the front desk to report the closure, she was told to use another one. Many stairs and awkward lobby crossings later, she found the alternate sauna that required additional payment to access, with no attendant to help out. At checkout, the receptionist dismissed our report of no attendant at the sauna with "that's not possible." To add insult to injury, the TV in our room kept turning on to welcome us, even after we had powered it down. The only solution was to unplug it completely from a secret hidden panel above. (This resolution involved another call to the front desk.) On the positive, the breakfast was outstanding and the bathroom products were high quality. And the included parking was convenient and nearby.

Mostly perfect
The experience was phenomenal thanks to hotel Slovenia. The room was incredible and the staff at the front desk and istran restaurant were amazing. Literally my only complaint would be our waiter at the buffet dinner that was included with our stay. He was quite rude and short with us. So much so that we skipped our last dinner to avoid him and ate at the Istran bar downstairs. Which was actually an incredible meal so I highly recommend checking it out for lunch. That waiter in the buffet needs to work on his social skills.

Best luxury hotel in portoroz. Renovated in 2016 and looks like new. Entirely central. One of the best breakfast buffets I have ever seen. You won’t have any issues here. Highly recommend. Chairs and umbrella on beach at no extra cost.

Fabulous refurbished hotel, friendly staff. Spa services were great, but a tiny bit confusing to get to the spa from the hotel (staff so helpful in explaining the connecting routes between buildings). Modern decor, comfortable rooms. I do wish the tub had an ability to be a stand-up shower, but that is minor

Brand new hotel close to the beach
The hotel has been open for 2 months and is located as part of the Lifeclass Hotels just across from the beach. The rooms are nice, the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and presents a variety of different choices. The coffee can be ordered at the table but what we received was inconsistent depending on who took the order. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and tries to please. Our car was valet parked across the street. I liked the shampoo and conditioner, etc that was provided. The bathroom had a very nice bathtub but now glass wall to prevent the water from getting all over the place. Something to consider. I also would have appreciated a coffee maker in the room to enjoy a morning coffee on the balcony. Staying at the hotel gives you access to the Medusa Exclusive Beach - however, you still have to look for your chair, and if you don not reserve it early in the morning you will not be able to enjoy a space in the exclusive area but have to move to other parts of the beach. As several hotels share the beach it gets very crowded.

The room was large by European hotel standards. The hotel only provides one large metal key for each room rather than multiple electronic card keys that are more commonly used. This makes it difficult if multiple people are sharing a room and coming and going at different times. No pools towels are provided. Bring your own or pay a 4 euro fee

Well we were actually put to Grand hotel Portorož which is next to it because our hotel was closed at our period of stay. First of all they didn't find our reservation then it took some time to arrange a new reservation to a different hotel then it took some more time to change rooms because we didn't get what we paid for. Also explaining three times what we paid for (room with balcony, half board, two guests) was a bit unpleasant because at first I was told I have to pay for half board for the second guest, then we got a room without balcony. So in the end I felt like a nagger at the reception yet I was only demanding what I had paid for. Room otherwise was nice and perfectly clean. The best part of our staying was restaurant, food was really good. And I have to point out restaurant staff and cleaning ladies which were also incredibly nice.

Close to the main beach.
Hotel is nice and comfortable. Room was very small as we had a room for 4. Pool was closed for maintenance and that should've been communicated. This is high season and we have two kids wanting to use the pool as that is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Portoroz is a nice city and the people around there were extremely nice.
