"Beautiful hotel and grounds with wonderful views off our back deck. The 2 person jetted tube was just what was needed after a day long hiking treks. Friendly and professional staff and we enjoyed a very good dinner on site and the included breakfast had several options and you can choose all you wish to eat."

"My husband and I had the most outstanding stay. We stayed for 6 nights in total. Throughout the entire stay we felt so at home. Breakfast was a great quality as was the lunches, boxed lunches for trip days and the evening meals. Our room was super spacious, the fire was delightful and made it really cosy. "Ignacio was so warm and welcoming!! He made our trip easy and relaxed. One of the best things he did was to arrange our looked forward to was a birdwatching experience. Our guide was the first female guide in Ecuador. She was excellent giving us so much time and her expertise in identifying a vast array of birds. Carmen’s cooking and homemade breads was exceptional. The whit beautiful setting is a place I would love to return to. I give an exceptional place"

"This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful."

"Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

"Many details in the landscaping, architecture of the buildings, and evidence of care given over the years to the upkeep of all buildings. A real pleasure to stay at such a well-presented property. Many bird varieties are seen from the veranda, and there are other fauna on the 320 hectare reserve."
