You would need a car to get there and get around as there is not much to do in Oundle village is beautiful and would be great to stay one or two nights without using the car, longer stays would be good if you have transport. We don’t normally go back to places but will try to return here"

"The owner has to do the school run but leave her number on the door so you don’t have to wait long. She is really professional, polite and welcoming. Room was comfy and quite with a fridge and microwave in room which is a bonus for longer stays. No parking but a car park is situated 2 mins away and £6.10 for 24hrs is a good rate. Also paid by phone so you don’t have to worry about tickets on dashboard. Excellent Chinese takeaway a few doors down very reasonably priced. Didn’t try the...

"Staff on reception were very warm and welcoming. Lovely room. Nice and spacious, little underwhelmed by the bath as the button to operate the jets wasn’t working properly. Would have been nice to have Netflix on the TV too!"
