My initial experience at Naturela was great, I think I stayed in their nicest standard room they had. (107 I believe) I recommended a couple of my friends to stay as well and they booked 2 other rooms there. One of the friends ended up going with me to Ubud for two days and we planned to stay back at the Naturela again after. When I came back I was really upset and it ruined my experience there. After referring enough friends to fill two more of their rooms, they stick me in one of their worst rooms with a broken AC, no hot water, dirty walls, the room smelt like fungus. When I asked to switch rooms because of these problems instead of “yes m’am” they try to question my truths and say they will send a maid up there to double check first.. then when they stuck me in the next room it was no better. So much for great service especially to customers who were loyal and helpful. Also the walls are very very thin. Another tip: don’t rent bikes from them, their breaks barely work and you can find nicer cheaper bikes quickly down the road. They also tried to hassle me for “losing the key” to one of the bikes after I turned the key in to the front desk the night before. I tried to give it directly to the mechanic because I was afraid of this happening but he made me turn it in to the front desk. Luckily they didn’t charge me for their mistake. On another note, pool is nice and the food downstairs is decent and cheap.
