Nice place to stay but staff inconsiderate
Me and my son went in the pool and found that our eyes were stinging a lot. Not sure if they use something different to chlorine or if they over used it although I couldn’t smell chlorine. The biggest issue at this hotel was being woken up by reception staff. On arrival at the hotel I checked in as normal. They took photocopies of my passport etc. when booking on hotels.com I sometimes pay in advance or when I stay depending on choice by hotels and cash flow. I was shown to my room with my 12 year old son. We settled in around 3.45, went to the pool, ate and went back to the room for around 6.30pm. We had such a late night the night before and a trip that day I went to bed around 8 after my shower. I woke up to my son playing his phone around 9pm momentarily still in a good sleep. I told him to come off the phone and got to sleep which he did. I then heard noises again and told him off still in a descent sleep for him to say it’s not me it’s the phone. I asked him to answer it as it was on the other side of the room away from the bed. He came off and said the reception said something about the booking but didn’t understand what. I said we will sort tomorrow and go to sleep. At 9.45pm I hear banging at the door. 2/3 lots of knocking in thinking they will go away as I’m in sleep mode… they didn’t they continued to knock 5-6 times shouting. I spoke with the manager that apologised and offered 1000bart discount for a second night. I couldn’t sleep until 4am after.

Hotelzimmer war sehr dreckig und wurde nicht richtig sauber gemacht. Die Klimaanlage war andauernd defekt und machte extreme Geräusche. Das Zimmer war komplett feucht und mit Schimmel befallen. Handtücher waren mehrfach nicht gewechselt oder vorhanden im Zimmer. Allgemein war das Hotel sehr runtergekommen. Für mich war es der erste und letzte Aufenthalt. Kann auch nicht glauben das dieses Hotel 4 Sterne hat.

Perfect welcome, nice rooms, nice pool. It's a bit removed from the beach and the nighlife area. Patong has plenty of options to get around so it's certainly manageable.

They publish a picture of a pool with a beach, the hotel is not close to the beach at all, on purpose to mislead the customers, so for me everything is really disappointing.

The staff were amazing and very welcoming! The rooms were a good standard followed by the restaurant and pool area. Not too far from the shops, restaurants and clubs, but a good enough distance to get quietness and peace. Overall a great 6 night stay, really makes a difference when all the staff and manager look after you! Would definitely stay again.

Oakwood Patong Phuket.
In a good location band only 4 years old. It is a little bit untidy in places and needs to be kept clean more in my opinion. Overall a pleasant stay.

Nice small hotel in Patong, a bit apart from Bangla Road but close enough to shops, restaurants, and the beach (about 15-20 min walk). Great breakfast, nice pool bar with a view. The rooms are a bit small but good enough since you are trying to be outside most of your day. Cold A/C and hot water. Excellent price!

Nice hotel but not so nice area
The journeyhub is a relatively modern Pleasant Hotel and the rooms I come packed but have I bar fridge, hair dryer, LCD TV with reasonable English-speaking channels oh, tea and coffee making facilities and a shower with reasonable water pressure. They don't provide slippers, bathrobes, or dental kit. The rooftop pool and bar area are pleasantly designed unfortunately there isn't much of a view from the as the area surrounding is rather Rundown. The bar is nearly always empty because the drink prices are absurdly expensive where they charge 240 Baht for a Corona but which is about $12 50 Australian which is more than what you would pay in Australia in an expensive restaurant. Some common sense would tell them if the prices were reasonable they might get people using the bar. The entry to the place is rather uninviting and reception is up on the 8th floor, and the area around doesn't have much to office IU looking at the Battle 15 minute walk to the jungceylon shopping centre, restaurants and bars. The beds across Asia are firm and here is no different, but in some hotels they uncomfortably hard where as here acceptable for westerners. Not a bad place for a short stay

Nice Hotel
Hotel is in an alley. Reception and amenities are in top floor. Room was clean except for a left over sock on the floor. I liked their soap dispensing mechanism. It's close to Patong beach.

Not great but would stay again
The hotel itself was nice although it was about 30 minutes walk from Patong Beach. The bathroom had a pretty horrible smell and a little bit of mold. It is still good value for money as the swimming pool is quite nice and they offer transfers to town. Also no room service.

Excellent hotel, all staff very helpful. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding. Store General manager very approachable and will deal with any issues which you may have. Close enough to beach and restaurants.

Over all average hotel, breakfast was very poor, staff in the kitchen need to be trained not friendly. I must say the lady that cleaned room 525 was brilliant. Would I stay there again probably not. Don’t think this is a 4 star hotel.

Great modern hotel especially for the price... only complaint would be one of the night staff didn’t want to interrupt two guys who were playing music really loud at 5am as they had brought two girls back

Not bad, but hard beds and poor location
The Journey Hub is a modern Hotel but unfortunately it's location is not so good as it is it's in an isolated area with not much around except for a 7-Eleven. Reception is located down a rather unsightly  alley.  Then you get the lift and go out to the 8th floor where reception is. There is no mini bar or mention of extra charges on hotel websites but reception charge you a deposit.  The rooms at a reasonable size & include a queen size bed which is rock hard so you don't get a good night sleep. There isn't any sound proofing as I often woke up listening to chairs and things being dragged across the floor on the level above me. Due to the hard beds I would wake up after a few hours feeling very sore. There is also 2 bottles.of free water, a sofa, a desk, an electric jug, tea and coffee making facilities, a bar fridge, a hair dryer and a safe, and an umbrella. The bathroom is a reasonable size and the water pressure is reasonably good but unfortunately the water temperature fluctuates from scalding hot to cold all the time while you are trying to have a shower. Housekeeping is okay but could do as soon Improvement because they do not clean the glasses that you use. The rooftop swimming pool and bar are good. However they drink prices were very high. The staff are friendly and there is also a gym with some free weights and machines, and there is an on-site restaurant. It's approximately 15 to 20 minute walk depending to get to the Junceylon Shopping Centre

Decent Clean Hotel

Average for the price
Overall it was comfortable for the price and the rooms were put together nicely, but every inch of the room smelled musty including the pillows and linens. We are at the restaurant only once, it was very expensive for a mediocre meal - and note that the pictures they use on the menu are nothing like what you will get. At least a 15 minutes walk from the beach and nightlife and the minimum taxi rate is 200 baht so it gets quite expensive having to cab everywhere. The pool area seemed nice but was under construction when we were there. It is about what I would expect for a hotel at this price.

The hotel is new, so it was great! A little ways away from the beaches, but I considered that a good thing.

We think the distance is good too, it's only about 15 to 20 minutes walk (or you can take our free shuttle bus) and it gives you a chance to take in some local atmosphere and/or work up an appetite! The room smell terrible we had 5 rooms and they all smelled like sewer the pillows were humid making it very uncomfortable to sleep we had to tell the front desk every morning how bad it smelled, they also tried to change me for a pillow case because my pink bathing suit left a light stain on it that could've easily come off with clorox..one good thing was tge food it was very good the pool needs some cleaning as well.
