The hotel/resort is at the very beginning of the Patong Beach strip -- literally across the street from the Patong Beach welcome sign -- thus, transport (taxis, scooters) will be required if you intend to venture to the heart of the strip (restaurants/bars/clubs, etc) -- especially late night. The staff and security are friendly and very accommodating. I brought a minor issue to the manager's attention and they resolved it to my satisfaction immediately! The room was pretty comfy and the cleaning staff did a really good keep it fresh. That being said, however, the pictures for the property are outdated. One-half of it under construction. I think it will be a great hotel when construction is complete and its fixtures (sink and toilet) are updated and recaulked (the molding in the sink was worn and my toilet leaked). The beach is across the street -- which is a real plus, and the property has a really nice "glass wall" infinity pool with bar overlook a view of beach and ocean.

Hotel was nice, very quiet as there were only 10 guests at the time. Breakfast was served in the room, which was ok, fairly basic. Pool is great, gym has all you need. Staff have limited English but very attentive. Beachfront about 500 metres to Bangla Rd

The hotel was great, pool is closed due renovation. Would have been great to have known ahead of time as we wouldn’t have booked it. But manager Don, i believe his name was , was very accommodating Great hotel, very clean, well located, across from the beach. There is a major language barrier but that’s just in general in Thailand

Where do I begin?? After 2 attempts our tv is still not working. Channels are fuzzy and they couldn't fix it. Our sink was stopped up, beds are hard. Lastly this hotel could use more lighted path ways and just a major overhaul. Breakfast buffet was great. However I would not make a reservation here.

NOT a 4 Star, it is 3 stars at BEST
We still have few more nights to spend here and could not help it but to put in a review now. Pros: Location is across from water and far away from the strip that it is pretty quiet. Cons: I truly cannot find anything that would rate this hotel a 4 start hotel. They barely can communicate with you in English, breakfast is mediocre, service is average, the room is average, the facilities are average and for sure the place needs a shot of Botox, some TLC. If you are booking just do not expect much more than a barely 3 start overall. We are very disappointed and unfortunately cannot cancel or change our booking.

Nice hotel, not too far from the main strip wnd right over the road from the beach. I had issues with the cleanliness and functionality of the jacuzzi however they were quick to come and clean it when the issue was raised. Overall a good stay but definitely room for improvement

Hidden jewel, great location
Amazing stay, great location close enough to the action and always far enough away to enjoy yourself! We didn’t mind walking (about 15mins to bangla rd), Tuk tuk are about $200-$300baht to bangla rd. Don was amazing, he made sure our stay was amazing, definitely went above and beyond for us, we loved him! The rest of the staff was friendly too, all smiles! We will definitely be back! The artwork around the hotel was amazing too!

This is our second year staying here. Flashback: last year we arrived friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful hotel m, awesome rooms, great hotel nice bar pool. Flash forward: this hotel looks run down. Our room has mold in the sink. Smelled of mildew. Tiles has been replaces with concrete in the shower. Water doesn’t escape properly if it falls out the tub. The cleaners only made up the bed but didn’t clean the room. We had empty coconuts and they left them there. There were old cigarette butts all throughout the rocks on the deck in front of our room. There was a plate of old half earn watermelon in front of another room. It stayed there for at least three days. They never replenished the soap or shampoo we used our own. The young last at reception was truly trying but she didn’t fully understand our requests and we apologize for not knowing Thai at the same time she inconvenienced us several ones by confirming or acknowledging something she didn’t fully understand. There were cats running around in and out of the kitchen while we were in the restaurant when we went to eat. And we both were sick that night. The place needs: Staff training Health and safety in the restaurant Airport shuttle service needs to be explained to all staff Huge cleanup in the hotel. Water damage needs to be assessed. Can be seen from inside rooms.

Nice place. Great staff. Nice location by the beach, 15 min walk to center of the center. Great pool. I recommend but bare in mind the location, if you look for good quite place by the beach- look no further!

Brilliant Location and Great Hotel
I stayed at B Lay Tong for 1 week. I absolutely loved it! Literally 5 metres from the beach, so close to 3 brilliant restaurants with great views overlooking the ocean. The room was very nice and comfortable The pool was great although some of the tiles are coming away and they need to have more towels but overall great. The service is brilliant with friendly staff The Wifi is the only let down as it drops out most of the time but you just have to reconnect and you're back up again. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and definitely will be coming back to stay!

Do not stay at this hotel. On the first day we were there they ran out of beach/pool towels and refuse to give us normal towels to use. Had to insist and finally gave us after 35 mins. The next 2 days, still no beach/pool towels. Tiles on the pool are coming off. Staffs are unfriendly, doesn’t speak or understand English, very hard to communicate and service is bad. Bathroom shower have molds. On check out, they tried billing me for drinks we never ordered. This hotel is far from being a 4 star.

It’s a good location, right across the road from the beach, Though a little far from all the action in Patong. But it’s really not a clean place, we were overwhelmed by the smell of mould the whole stay. Bathroom floor was filthy and even specifically asked the housemaid to clean it, but it remained the same. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff don’t speak much English and couldn’t really help us with most requests. Fortunately none of those things ruined the trip for us, still had a great time, Patong beach is gorgeous and the hotel is right there. Would have been nice if the bar in front of the hotel was actually open once in a while! The pool access room is a nice thing too, the grounds of the property are beautiful.

Great basic hotel
Our stay was great, the staff are really friendly and helpful and the room is just as you see it in the picture. It’s large, bright and had everything we needed. There is a Nice pool and the beach is right in front of the hotel which is amazing. A couple of enjoying things- 1. The wi-fi signs you off automatically if you don’t use it for more than a few minutes. Which is usually not an issue as I don’t intend on spending my holidays at the hotel. However, it was pretty irritating when I got food poising and had to be at home for a little while longer. 2. Whilst the room was clean when we got there, the cleaners do not clean nor do they replenish toiletries (other than toilet paper). Also, they would always forget to give us something I.e one day they didn’t give us a floor towel for outside the shower, one day the didn’t give us bath towels etc.. it’s not a bit deal but it makes the experience less than 4.5 stars. 3. For an hotel with so many stars I was expecting them to do something with our room for Valentine’s Day but nothing was done. I’ve been in hostels which made an effort on Valentine’s Day so it was a little disappointing. Again not a make or break matter but worth noting if these are things that matter to you.

They have a staff member named Jen or pitchaporn kidchob that puts the moves on older patrons then hustling them for money or gifts beware of this girl she tries to use men using her job as a platform. If your wise enough to avoid the trap the hotel is nice but avoid the top floor due to constant banging that keeps you up all night.

I’m obsessed with this artsy hotel . It’s definitely luxurious with amazing rooms to choose from , courteous staff , a beautiful infinity pool with a swim up bar , and so much more . The service was great from the front desk , to the pool bar , to the B Hive restaurant . We spent 4 nights at the hotel & loved it so much . The only downside was the location is at the end of Patong Beach , a bit of a walk from Bangla Road where all the action is

This is a cool, chic and nicely appointed hotel catering to a mixed crowd and demographic. The room was clean and stylish and the jacuzzi on the balcony was great for relaxing. The breakfast buffet was also very good, with genuinely lovely staff serving you. The pool is the heart of the hotel and it is lovely, with a bar you can swim up to and order a well-made cocktail and order decent food. The problem was the need to almost incessantly play loud dance music rather than allow guests to relax and enjoy the view and the pool in peace.

From start to finish this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. At check in we were given a room without air conditioning. We had to change rooms and were not given keys to that room. The hotel was old and dated and in desperate need of renovations. We got a note under our door stating that the power was going to be shut off for two hours the following day. The breakfast was actually the best thing about the hotel. However, beware of going to the bathroom down by breakfast. It was poorly lit and I fell and bloodied my toe. Upon checkout the front desk accused us of taking the beer from the mini fridge which we did not and tried charging us. Said it was the house keepers word against ours. Then we had a tour booked for which we were supposed to be picked up from the hotel and the hotel staff called and canceled our tour without telling us.

This place is so beautiful. It's two minutes walking to the beach, literally. There's a swim up bar in the hotel. Top notch service. There's a market with fresh seafood, grilled veggies and fresh pressed juices on the beach. There's no hassle and the staff are helpful in getting tuk tuk's. Welcome drink is tasty and food is great too. What a beautiful hotel!! I can't wait until next time!

From check in to the transfer back to hotel this stay what's a succession of disappointment. Beware the pictures on the internet do not match the room type. Power failure issue (my room only not due to general power failure), 3 room moves on check in, no hotel wifi for the last 2 days (they provided a pocket wifi 4G with limited bandwidth), very unhelpful and unwelcoming staff and to top it all the hotel car I booked in the morning at 6.30... the driver was 30 min late coming in so I almost missed my flight. I received a letter of apologies from the management and a fruit bowl but to be honest that did not fix my weekend

Nice hotel with a central location
This hotel was nice, but I expected a little more for the amount I paid. Phuket is very rainy and the room was a little damp. The air condition worked great but if it was not on, you will come home to rest on wet sheets. We stayed in a poolside suite. It included a small pool that you share with four neighbors that does not connect to the main pool. The hot water in the shower does not last for more than 10 minutes and the tile in the shower was a little old and gross. The wait staff did not speak English very well and some were quite rude, so we had a lot of issues checking in and ordering room service. We booked our excursions and activities through the front desk tour service center and while the scheduled everything in a timely manner, they were quite pushy as to which tours to pick and were expensive compared to the price to book through Expedia or at various tour booths in the area. They hotel is centrally located, the beach is right across the street from the hotel, there is a 7-11 around the corner for any basics you may have forgotten, and several restaurants and street food venders within walking distance.

Great Quiet Hotel in Patong!
Beautiful hotel on the quiet side of Patong away from the noise of Bangla but close enough that you can be there within in minutes to enjoy the fun. Hotel staff was accommodating and helpful with all matters. The Pool access rooms were a great addition and make relaxing after a hot day easy breezy. Will be back
