Great value for money, comfortable and clean.
Travelling across France and Spain we stayed in three budget hotels and this was the best. A reasonable €5 surcharge for our dog and no hidden extra costs. Large clean room with comfortable beds, ensuite shower room, plenty of hot water and efficient radiators. Would recommend this hotel above any other budget chain. Friendly, helpful staff.

There was mess under the children's bunk beds. The bathroom was filthy including hairs and a disgusting smell. Could not get away fast enough.

Good overnight stop for a ferry crossing.
We booked at very last minute. Disappointed that if we had driven direct we would have got a lower price than we paid!

DEPLORABLE
Booked this hotel Last minute as it was close to port and we had a lunchtime ferry crossing. Hotel ideally situated near many shops supermarkets, restaurants etc. The hotel room was deplorable, dirty and smelly. The bathroom which greeted us on the way in was mouldy and stank rather musty. Flat sheets on the bunk beds appeared to have been the same one reused by the previous occupants. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

Ok for a stop-over
We stopped here 1 night on the way back to the tunnel. The exterior looks like an East German housing block. Corridor lights on a timer,, if you can find the switch in the dark. The room was comfortable but the shower room/toilet area was cramped. Some XL people would really struggle. Parking seemed secure. Not much on the retail park. Breakfast was good. Overall ok for the price!

Aging badly in need of a makeover
We stayed just one night as a stopover on the drive south. Apart from the 24 hour McDonalds there is nowhere to get anything to eat or drink late at night. Forget the instructions on the website about entry codes as you will get the code for the gates when you check in at reception (we had to call twice to ask for codes which didn't work when we got there!). Hotel mostly clean but very worn, bed was ok as was shower. Breakfast was fair for price.

Nice small place with a very appealing price tag
It's a nice place, and given the price, it's hard to beat. However, instead of 3 separate beds we had 1 double plus a loft bed, which made our daughter not happy at all. It's too far away from the sea, but driving is OK and parking on Saturday night at the embankment wasn't an issue. Please also note that it's located next to a Cash and Carry store parking, so it was quiet on Sunday morning but might be an issue on weekdays.

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
The hotel was exactly what we thought it would be. Typical of the budget 'stop-over' type hotel it offered everything needed but with no frills. Bathroom was clean and adequate but would not be suitable for the larger framed as was quite small. Bed was not the most comfortable as it dipped in the centre making a very cosy night! Very handy for a couple of local eateries (not evening-out type restaurants) but fairly good for the type of food provided. Handy for the supermarket that was next door. Would stay again. Excellent value for money.

Spacious feel for a budget hotel
It is an older style budget hotel, built on a slightly more generous scale than some of the more modern versions. Rooms are reasonably spacious and the bathrooms not too cramped. There was a flat screen TV in the room, which was warm and clean. Downstairs the breakfast area looked very nicely laid out although we did not eat there. For an overnight stay on a budget, this is a useful hotel not far from Berck.

Overnighter near Tunnel
Excellent value for money. Good location, easy to find. Beds very comfortable. Hotel aged but very functional. Ideal as an overnighter on the way home from 3 weks in Dordogne/South coast before catching tunnel back to UK. You are not getting a rolls royce but why would you when you pay an old banger price?

mistake
must have made a mistake when I booked this, not what I expected, the "very good" restaurant just two minutes away should be avoided but then you'd have to make do with McD's, mind that might be better. secure parking wasn't, as gates were broke, loony on a scooter going round and round at 4AM didn't help the restless nights sleep, I could go on but will stop, I wont be stopping here again.

All I wanted, really
Although I arrived late and had the code for my room etc, I had difficulty in getting into the car park. Since I arrived late, there was plenty of car-parking close by, but it could have been easier understood. Basically, all I wanted was a bed for the night, a quick, basic breakfast (and it was basic) and get on my way, early the following morning. The staff were pleasant, mind you. At the price, you can't grumble, you get what it says on the tin, hence the cost. If you want more, pay more, simples!

For "Quiet residential area" read "Supermarket car park, opposite 24hr petrol". You could do much better than this cheap tired establishment, but if you do, book direct, it's cheaper still!

Adequate, no frills overnight hotel.
This is a basic two star hotel on ther outskirts of Berck. The room was fairly basic but perfectly adequate for our two night stay. Breakfast (extra charge) was quite good with fresh baked croissant and a selection of breads with butter, jams, yoghurt, fruit juice and cereals.

Hôtel propre. Malgré la circulation dense autour, les nuits se sont révélées silencieuses et réparatrices (week-end de septembre). Un petit effort de quelques sachets de thé et café ainsi que d'une bouilloire dans la chambre serait le bienvenu.

We verbleven op een familiekamer op het gelijkvloers, niet ver van de inkomhal. Niet leuk om wakker te worden van ochtendlijke gesprekken samen met de geur van sigarettenrook die binnenkwam via de openstaande ramen… Misschien de rookruimte aan de inkomhal verplaatsen naar een andere locatie? De faciliteiten waren ok maar onze kamer was duidelijk afgeleefd. Ook weinig geluidsisolatie zodat je alles hoort van voorbijgangers op de hotelgang. Het ontbijt was vrij beperkt. Geen eitje en weinig charcuterie en geen platte borden??? Wij moesten ons brood op plastic plateaus leggen of op kleine ondertassen… Dit is zeker een verbeterpunt.
