"We stayed in the Tower part of the hotel. The room was modern and clean and excellent value. Checking in was reasonably fast as plenty of staff on duty. Would recommend higher floors if facing the street as some noise from below. The Flamingo is very central on the strip with a lovely garden and it is easy to get around from it. It seems common in strip hotels not to provide tea or coffee or even drinking water in the rooms, presumably drinking coffee in your room keeps you away from the slots and the tables. It is worth noting that whatever you pay for a bed for the night, once the elevator deposits you into the lobby you will be walking through the side streets and shared areas of all the casinos, prince and pauper alike."
"For the Canadian dollar prices where expensive.$30 US for Breakfast at the buffet worked out to $52 Canadian, only ate there twice.Las Vegas has poor outdoor sitting areas along the streets, not everyone drives like myself so I did alot of walking and found very little outdoor sitting places like public benches."
"I very much enjoyed my stay, with maybe one negative comment regarding amenities in the room. It would have been nice to have a mini frig and coffee maker. We also really enjoyed the Sunday buffet from soup to nuts. Overall, would recommend this property and would return for future visits to Vegas."
"Our room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The botanical garden was being re-done, so there was a lot of construction traffic in the halls. Also….no coffee in the room, which I personally hated! The slots in the casino are also really tight - don’t bother playing to win."
