Excellent choice. I traveled in a group of 5 so a single occupancy room across the street at the Mirage ran minimum $400 more than it was at Casino Royale. The rooms are a bit nicer but unless you plan on spending a lot of time in your room, personally I think it's a waste. Staff was friendly, helped me check in quickly and had my room ready a couple hours before check in at no extra charge. This is also one of the few hotels nearby that does not charge resort fees. They do however keep a hold on your credit card of $24/night, which is standard.
Casino Royale had a clean, nice room with the expected amenities. The attached casino is dated but still clean and are the only place in a distance with $1 Micheloeb bottles.

"Very convenient location if just passing through!"
James at the front desk was amazing! Not only did he help my family with a last minute booking (we were bumped from our flight), he got us a great, clean, quiet room. The next morning, when my daughter left her cell phone in the room, he and the wonderful driver got it back to us before we finished checking in for our flight!
