I made a reservation minutes before boarding my flight, when we arrived I was instantly harassed by the front desk about having to pay for my girlfriends stay in the room since the reservation was for 1 person. After some back and forth we complied with additional fees. Then I inquired about using the luxurious pool that’s the cover photo of the hotel on Expedia.. come to find out it’s a 15Euro x 2 Hour fee per person to use the pool as a hotel guest.. talk about false advertisement! Then the room, two stiff twin beds put side by side, no shampoo, conditioner or lotion just some unlabeled mystery gel that looked more appropriate next to a sink. Then the shower.. I wish I was making this up, but for the first day we had brown water coming out of the shower (I have photos). Let me remind you this is an aquatic spa.. I did encounter several employees at the bar that were extremely polite so I do not want this review to reflect on they’re performance, they were fantastic! As someone who was been to this spa several times including when it first opened I can honestly say the experience here was disappointing and unsatisfactory for a 4 star hotel.. the standards are not what they were or should be. I hope this review is constructive towards renewing the quality of such an important hotel to the region.
