"This was a great spot for beach time, the location was good for me, an older woman, because it was east of the craziness that PCB can be. The room was clean, and very nice, comfortable beds, however the A/C unit is very old and not at all functioning well to the point that the inn also had a dehumidifier in the room. I have one just like it in my camper, and they work, but there was so much moisture in the air in that room that I had to empty the tank twice in a one night stay and still it...

"My family and I enjoyed our vacation stay at Colonial Shores. Owner upgraded our room at no additional charge and without me even asking. Would have given 5 stars, but bathroom fan did not work and fold out couch mattress was stained. Asked Manager not to fix during our stay. As nice as they were, I am sure they were not aware of the problem and have since fixed both problems. Will stay here again and would recommend to friends."

"Excellent Hotel for me, I really enjoy the location walking distance to everything we like to eat and spend time doing. The staff and the office people are so friendly. The bed slept so good, this is my second time staying here will definitely be staying again. The pool was nice and clean and warm. NO COMPLAINTS FROM ME!!! "It was awful! The pillows were flat! The online description was NOTHING like the actual appearance of the hotel and they did not understand me when I told them a nonsmokers room in person AND in the reservation that I did 2 weeks prior to staying! And room service came around ONCE!And then another maintenance man i guess you would call him just walked into out room WITHOUT a knock on the door first! Will NOT be staying there again!"
