We booked short notice but they had no wristbands which are required on the property. After being told they’d be delivered by 6 pm someone walked into the room at 10:34 pm to drop them off, luckily my son woke me up. We got stopped by security several times and they had to take pictures of my communications to the property manager to allow me back in. Made by kids feel like we were doing something wrong and they felt embarrassed. Property itself was nice but the Management company getting short with me via text was unacceptable. If you can’t rent it short notice then don’t take the booking.

Parking is super narrow is super hard to go up it down if other cars are coming the opposite way. The property itself was beautiful! Dish soap was not enough Pots and pans could use a little updating but I mean for what it was worth it was a great place to spend some family time ! Views are stunning

Property was ok, Pretty much the basics. No sheets for the sofa sleeeper, multiple light bulbs out in bathroom. The info listed a reserved parking space in the panhandle gateway site but that was not included? When I called, Panhandle staff was Courteous and the gentlemen who delivered the sheets was very nice.

The condo we booked was extremely dirty and had mold all over, DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! The bathrooms had mold! The living area curtain had mold, one of the bed was broken, and the kitchen was filthy! As soon as we walked in you could see how much hair was all over the floor! Yet we still had to pay for a filthy room. They only sent someone super late to fix the bed and take a towel to wipe the mold off the tubs! No manager was ever available, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SHORES OF PANAMA THEY ARE FILTHY!

Everything was pretty great there were just a few things keeping me from giving the full five stars. The internet was very poor and dropped frequently. There were no cleaning supplies in the unit (soap for cleaning surfaces, hand soap, broom to sweep up sand, etc.). Most of the staff weren't very friendly. That being said, the unit was beautiful and the view was amazing.

The staff at the property were horribly RUDE. Didn’t want to even let me through the gate. Told me to come back the next day as if I hadn’t paid for the night already. Refused to let my family park even though we had two parking passes!! They just talk to people any kind of way. Thankfully I booked through panhandle Getaways! And they were Amazing! I called / texted with any issues any hour and they fixed it for me right way. Didn’t even have to talk to the staff.. would definitely recommend using panhandle getaways.

The property it self is beautiful! The area around has alot of places to eat. The beach is amazing. How ever the pool is freezing! Pretty sad that you have to hang out in the ocean because it is warmer. When there is a double red flag day, we had to hang out in the hot tub or go explore the town. Why can't some form of heater be installed? Or break ground for another hot tub so adults can have a tub and the kids can have one. The "security" was a little excessive on monitoring the pool area, do you not want people to enjoy your property and want to come back? Especially with the kids bobbing around in the hot tub, they just wanted to have fun and have alot of energy to burn didn't need hypothermia to set in in the pool. We have been to this property a different time of year and thought we would give it another chance because we thought the pool was awesome. But it was the same coldness. So now it's time to move on in selecting another property.

The resort was nice and so was the pool and amenities. However, the elevators were aggravating and was so bad one night two elevators skipped our floor 3 times and we was very irritated, especially after walking between 2 sets of elevators. Also, they did not let us know ahead of time where to park and had to ask in order to know (the room numbers for the reserved spots were all over the place as well, which didn’t make sense), we think it should’ve been first come first serve. Also, our room was left open without the door latched and someone could have just walked in. But overall, we enjoyed our stay but I guess there’s advantages/disadvantages to any where you stay.

Enjoyed our visit!
Shores of Panama was absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location. The view from our balcony was gorgeous and we were steps away from the beach. We never got in the pool but it was very clean looking and a great size so there never seemed to be any issue with overcrowding. The condo itself needs a little upkeep...a lot of chipped paint and some cracking but it was very clean.The parking garage is a tight squeeze so don't expect to get a large truck in there. We forgot about the time difference and actually tried to check in too early but they were very accomodating and we were still able to get into the condo with no problem. Overall such an amazing expereince and would stay there again.

The saddest resort in Panama city
I booked a non-refundable stay despite poor reviews. I thought people were probably just picky or overreacting. They weren’t. It’s awful! And we ended up leaving, and booking a room elsewhere. Waiting at the first elevators, my daughter noticed signs posted reminding guests that “elevators will get stuck between floors” if more than 12 or over weight load. We watched the doors open, then close again many times, due to already packed past regulations and no room for us to get on. Once we finally boarded, the elevator was stifling hot, and as more guests boarded on each floor, or were left waiting with luggage carts and no room to board, I noted the general rundown appearance of the place, the sad/exhausted looks on the faces of people waiting on the elevators. Additionally I couldn’t help feeling dangerous due to the global COVID 19 pandemic, packed in like sardines. Add to it the scarily high and rusty balcony once we reached our floor, the entry door rusted so I could see light outside, and the overpowering smell of bleach inside our condo, and I was done before we even unloaded the car. This was not the vacation spot I imagined. Thankfully the resort refunded my $60 parking paid upon arrival, but the rest is lost. A small price to pay I guess, to get the heck out of that nightmare place.

Pros: The location was nice with a beautiful view. The main lobby staff were wonderful. We even were able to retrieve our lost wallet! The bedroom mattress was comfortable and the couches are large enough to sleep on. Cons: The elevators were slow at times. It took a long time to find an available parking spot in the garage and no one told us we needed a parking pass until the 3rd time we entered the garage. The bunk bed was extremely uncomfortable. The lights are very dim in the bathrooms and kitchen. Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay here again.
