Good - Can’t fault the location of this place right in the heart of the historic centre (but be aware rooms at the front are therefore quite noisy late into the night). Our room was huge. Great views from the roof terrace. Not so good - Whole place is a bit shabby. Breakfast buffet is a bit cheap and staff not quick to restock. There were two fire alarms during our two night stay. The one in the afternoon was just a fault but staff were not very communicative about what was going on. The one at 5.30am was cause by someone letting off a fire extinguisher in their room, and while that’s not the staff’s fault they dealt with it very poorly. I’m not confident they would know what to do if there really was a fire.

Very nice hotel with rooftop terrace and good continental breakfast. Self serve laundry and good location to access the historic centre of the city.

Convenient location to walk to major attractions. The hotel needs some upgrading and repair. Our bathroom had black mold around the top of the window. Staff were very nice. Piero in the restaurant was especially helpful and accomodating.

Two nights in Palermo!
Hotel is in a great location and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommended for those who want to get around and enjoy the scenery, good food, and shopping!!!

This is in a perfect location with easy access to all the sights you want to see. This B&B is more like a hotel. Daily housekeeping, many rooms, and 24 hr staff. It has comfortable beds and has a nice bathroom. Taxis are right outside the front door for transportation alternate transportation. It is a great hotel for the value and we would return.

Our room had a beautiful view of Mount Vesuvius from the window. It was lovely to see each morning and evening. The staff are amazing and more than helpful at answering our multitude of questions. They helped organize tours for us and helped us out when we had a problem with getting to one of our tours. The breakfast downstairs in the grotto is delicious with amazing cappuccino each morning. There is a lovely rooftop deck where you can enjoy the gorgeous views with an aperitif. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property and staff. They close to the main square and dining. There is also a taxi stand right in front for easy access. The beds are ok but the rooms a spacious and clean. Overall a good place to stay for affordable prices.

A very nice stay. Clean rooms and bathroom. The staff at breakfast was helpful and the staff was even more helpful. The location was in a great location next to everything only complaint it could be a little noisy but not bad

The hotel is very conveniently situated in the historic quarter and very near to restaurants and shops, could not have whished for better. The room was large, clean and tidy, but there are show of wear and tear needs a spruce up. The view from the 5th floor terrace and the view from my room of the Fountain Pretoria was amazing

This hotel was lovely and clean. Easy check in with great customer service. The roof top breakfast was great and views were amazing. Fantastic location and very walkable to all the beautiful sights in Palermo.

Brilliant hotel
We had a brilliant stay. Friendly and helpful receptionists great you. Our room was big with a large bathroom. Lots of warm water in the shower. The hotel has clearly been renovated recently. It is in a great location next to Quattro Canti and every morning we walked down the stairs to see the amazing Fontana Pretoria. The restaurant on the top floor has amazing views! Finally there is after cafe, called Cafe Latino, which we went to most days. A brilliant hotel and I’d gladly stay here again.

Disappointing room
The location is super convenient and the reception very nice . The room itself was a big disappointment. I had booked for a standard double room and was given an accessible room . I am not sure if this room is not as used but there was a very strong smell of dampness , musty and humidity. I can see why because when I went to look out the window I faced another wall which was a residential building . It felt a bit claustrophobic to be honest .

We liked the convenience of this property. It is located just a block from several historical sites and the center of the old town. The restaurant on the roof has an outstanding chef and extensive menu, with dining late into the night. The room was inexpensive but spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and extremely helpful. Great restaurants within a few blocks. We would return to this hotel, but next time we'll ask for a room toward the back. We learned quickly that Palermo's residents and visitors are very energetic and lively!

The room wasn’t as shown on the site. The bathroom was very old and looked nothing like all the photos visible. The bed was nice and location amazing, but that is all positive that can be shared about the experience.

Never pick the 4th floor for a room, the restaurant with a huge terrace is right above and the push the tables and chairs starting really early in the morning until late night, it is very loud and annoying. Our shower head was facing the wall due to a loose screw, so you had to hold the hand piece during showering, we were promised that it would be taken care about, but nothing happenend. The location is great, just don’t come with the car. The view from the rooftop restaurant is stunning.

Hotel is very centrally located but not very easy to find as whilst it is on a main street this is one way and you have to cross a busy pedestrian area to reach it, fist night we left the car a few streets away for free and the 2nd we did manage to find so the hotel parked for us. The room was very large and clean and the breakfast was pleasant on the roof terrace however the noise from the other guests was quite unacceptable. There are very high ceilings in the building and the slamming of doors and noisy children did make me glad we only stayed for 2 nights - best compared to a travel lodge in the UK

Excellent location, however very noisy at night. I used earplugs but did enjoy the view from the front. Rooms were clean. Rooftop was fantastic except it is a private restaurant so if if it is in use you can't go up. There was a wedding one day and one night they told us the tables were all booked so we couldn't sit and have a glass of wine 15 minutes before opening.

Overall really nice hotel in a great location however couldn’t get past the fact that the noise with the window open is unbearable. Really disappointed that the AC in the room has been switched off due to certain period during the year. It would be so much better if we could sleep with the window shut as the noise is relentless due to the location and nightlife. The shower was really bad and we requested the staff to get it fixed on day one however it took them four days. We then had the same issue with the shower on the last day as it went back to how it was which was producing cold and extremely hot water inconsistently. The breakfast was abysmal with a very limited selection. The hotel generally has great potential however the above points have made the stay stressful and draining. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you like to sleep in a cool environment. The only justice is the location.
