"On the quiet side of Orient Bay beach"
You feal you landed in France the minute you get there. The beach is great. The pool at the villas are fun after a day at the beach. The staff are all very nice. The hotel is one end of the beach , so it is quieter and the people from the cruise ships land at another part of the beach. Other secluded beaches are nearby. Pimel island is a lot of fun. The Coco beach restaurant needs improvements. We tried other restaurant on Orient beach which were better, one called Bikini.

"We have already booked our next stay at Palm Court"
We have stayed at Palm Court in the past and loved it then and we still do. The rooms are big and the King size beds are huge, I'm not sure of the measurements but they are larger than our California King we have at home. The rooms are clean and the hotel grounds and landscaping are beautiful and very well cared for. The bath room is a good size with an open shower. The pool is warm and very clean. Due to the fact that everything was to our liking, we did not need to see the staff a lot but when we did it was a very pleasant experience. Ann at the reception desk did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast staff does an excellent job from the great coffee to my wife's favorite, the chocolate pastries.

"Wonderful hotel close to the beach and fine dining"
This was a vacation for our 25th wedding anniversary - my wife and I wanted a very special time together and our expectations were far exceeded. The Alamanda was wonderful. The check in went very smooth. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and delicious. The staff was excellent. The room was very good - comfortable bed, clean, very nice size. The balcony was furnished and an excellent place to relax. Fine dining was a 2 minute walk away. We ate at 2 of the restaurants - Cote Plages and Le P'tit Bistro. The food was excellent at both. The foie gras at Le P'tit Bistro was incredibly delicious! The Orient Beach was also a minute walk away. The sand, surf, and water were the most beautiful we have ever seen. The time we spent on the beach together (about 6 hours each day) was awesome! The beach front had restaurants that served lunch and drinks all day. We ate lunch at Andy and Cheryl's. It was very good. My wife got a pina colada at Kontiki - it was superb! The atmosphere at the Orient Beach was completely relaxed and chill. People were cool and friendly. Totally hassle free! The prices for beer, drinks, and food at the Orient Beach restaurants and bars were reasonable. The vacation was like having the best of France and the Caribbean in one place - a paradise of sensual pleasures and an excellent way for a couple to celebrate their marriage!

"Terrific!"
This was our first visit to St. Martin. We are not posh-resort kind of people, but we do have minimum expectations with respect to cleanliness, convenience, and staff responsiveness to unexpected issues. When we arrived, we were informed by the owner/manager that we were upgraded to the second floor, since this was our first stay at the hotel and it was off-season (October). She was gracious and friendly beyond all expectations, as was the entire staff during our nearly two-week stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious, and conveniently located to the beach. The air conditioner did die on us on the second day. However, after they attempted to fix it, they moved us to another room with many apologies. If you are the type who expects to be pampered and fussed over, perhaps this is not the place for you. Go to a 5-star resort instead. However, every day someone -- the groundskeeper, the clerical staff, the cleaning lady, the bartender -- asked us how we were enjoying our stay on the island. This type of sincere "checking in" was well-appreciated. I can't say enough about the staff. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance -- amazing thai, italian, and the best french food I've ever had, at La Table d'Antione. Expensive, for sure, but worth every dollar. We will be back, and we will stay at this hotel irrespective of the time of year we return.

"Great View, Relaxing, and Friendly Service"
We stayed only one night, but really enjoyed it. I would have liked to stay longer, but we had to get back home. The shuttle service was great to get to the beach or to the local restaurants. The view from the pool and our room was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and in good shape. The hotel is small and you get personalized service.

"Very nice hotel and amenities"
A very nice hotel with an equally nice beach where we relaxed on the lounge chairs with or without an umbrella all courtesy of the hotel. The infinity pool was just as inviting. The grounds were well kept with all kinds of plants that would provide a meal to the local iguanas, some of them large and not too shy. The food was excellent with a great breakfast buffet. As I always say, the people make the difference and they were great, we spent a beautiful week there.

"3 rd time"
Very nice hotel. Beautiful small beach, wonderful open air restaurant. We have stayed at GCBC 3 times and have never been disappointed. Wonderful hotel, lovely staff. Gave us a bottle of wine upon check in. If you really want a pool, then this might not be the place. They have a very small pool. But I don't know why you want a pool, when you have the calm, clear, warm, beautiful ocean steps away.

"A cool, quiet oasis facing beautiful water"
We stumbled through total dumb luck onto Bleu Emeraude. I can't tell you how we marveled at our good fortune. The hotel is located toward the end of the main strip in Grand Case. This lends it quite a bit of quiet and seclusion. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. Our room was quite comfortable, the view from any spot in the room of the beautiful Caribbean. Our hosts, Maya and Frederic, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, willing to ensure our vacation was as enjoyable as possible. They happily acted as concierge, booking us on the handful of experiences we were interested in and referred us to a wonderful driver who delivered us to any destination on the island. I am taking a big chance here, telling the glorious truth about this site, knowing full well that an increase in their popularity could mean difficulty in booking my next visit. We were honestly in our own slice of heaven here. But our experience was so positive, we owe it to Maya and Frederic to spread the good news about their property and the good things they are doing there. Do yourself a favor and book a week there. Live well at Bleu Emeraude and eat well at the amazing local restaurants in Grand Case. Float in the water. Then come back to your life refreshed and stress free. You will not regret it.
