"The property is clean and spacious enough for the two of us. It is walking distance from the train and bus station. There are restaurants, cafes, bakery and convenience stores nearby. I didn’t realise we booked a smoking room. The room had not been aired out when we checked in so we had the window opened while we were out and the room smelled much better after 24 hours."

"A great budget option in Miyajima, it is a five minutes walk from the JR Miyajima station and within walking distance of the ferry terminal. We were upgraded to a room with two bunk beds and it was a comfortable stay though it did get a bit noisy at times since the sliding door did not block the sound of people moving and talking in the corridor. Facilities are like most hostels and you get what you pay for. "

"Tasty food paired with good views and a short ferry ride from Hiroshima. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. They had many amenities and a nice, calm atmosphere perfect for relaxation and a soak in their Onsen. They offered a complimentary ride to and from the ferry, and made sure I made it to the port on time. (Otherwise a 10 minute walk) would recommend to a friend. "

"A little challenging to get to but once you’re there you understand why. Really beautiful location. Tough to get food at night because most of the restaurants cater only to the daytime tourists which was tough and the ferry only runs so late so you can’t get dinner late and head back. "Wonderful stay in a traditional machiya. Stayed in Samurai room with terrace which was perfect to relax in after long day. Our highlight was omakase dinner with the best sushi we've ever had! Western style breakfast was delicious and not too heavy. Took chef’s advice to take evening walk to see Miyajima at night and it was perfect to see the torii gate and shrine at night without the crowds. If you can spare a night here to escape the city and experience the island in the evening would highly recommend! Amenities are comfortable and clean though note that the bathroom and toilet are shared with the other room. No one else was staying at the same time so no issue for us. Also will be sleeping in futon you need to set up yourself."
