The only thing this hotel had going for it was being right on the boardwalk. It was very dirty inside The room smelled musty and the ac in the room was broken. Also walls are paper thin. So you can hear everything from neighbors The staff working was extremely nice and very helpful

Perfect for our little couples weekend away. Narrow corridors and small elecator how ever the ppl are so nice you forget about shortly after. Would recommend and would stay again.

The photos that show the rooms are false, holes and humidity in the ceiling of the room, terrible damp smell, empty shower gel, holes in the bathroom wall, horrible construction noise in the morning, pillows with a damp smell, I booked for two nights and I only stayed for one, it is the worst experience I have ever had, a nightmare, I felt unsafe, I do not recommend this hotel.

Was book for 2nights only stay 1 door knob to the room was wobbly the shower door fell off while i was in and the shower head wet the ceiling more then me the s.ell in the room was horrible and it didn't smell like cleaning products

Great Location, Great Time
Harrison Hall has a great location right on the boardwalk at 15th street. My wife and I went for the weekend and this is our first stay there. The building and rooms are a little older and smaller. With two people we pretty much took up all of the space in the room itself and bathroom. That was perfect for us and lined up well with the price. My wife described it as "cozy". Tea and coffee are available in the lobby, soda machines and a restaurant downstairs. I enjoyed our stay and the view from the lobby and deck is just as pretty as the pictures. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Honest but fair.
While the price is very good the staff in morning very young needs to be more professional and confident. Staff to staff discussions in or outside the counter or across from it shouldn’t the only front of customers. The room also should have pics about how crowded it really is for 2 people and there’s no closet space. I also need to add my “non” smoking room was a smoke room and the entire hotel seemed a historic smoke type of stay. Do something to help me believe your smoke-fee means something. The last item is the handlers for soap and body wash kept falling it’s not hard to fix get a good 3M heavy strip or double sided tape it very scary how it can fall on me suddenly but lucky it didn’t. Loved the bid dresser and kindness of older folk in reception. The entry could use better instructions to it because it really cool outside entry design.

The hotel staff was nice, that was the only nice thing about this hotel. The walls, carpet, and furniture upon entering the lobby was filthy. It smelled damp, like mildew. We checked in and immediately found another place to stay because the room was disgusting. Damp/dirty carpets, stained furniture and the shower had grime around the entire thing. After multiple attempts to get a refund the hotel still refused so we ended up paying for 2 hotels.

Old but good
The staff was very friendly and worked hard at cleaning the hotel. It is just an old place right on the ocean. Nothing fancy, carpets worn and sand on the windows (to be expected). Location and view were wonderful. Love the porch and rocking chair.

The rooms are very small and could use an update. The front porch is nice with rocking chairs and a beautiful ocean view of the ocean. The location is excellent. You walk right on to the boardwalk on 15th. There are restaurants and shops within steps from the hotel

Loved being on the boardwalk and the cozy front porch facing the Ocean. However there was no where to hang any wet clothes or towels, except for on the bathroom door and still there were only 2 spots for that. My wife and I had a great stay and will be returning, hopefully with a better room.

We checked in and checked out within the hour. We did not realize it was Bike Week. Loud and left us feeling unsafe. Someone in the elevator told us he couldn't sleep for the snoring next door. Property needs serious updating. Threadbare and raveled carpeting. We had to park two blocks away. Very uncomfortable about leaving our car unattended. Staff was friendly and indicated we could probably get a refund from 3rd party booking agent. Hotel denied refund when contacted by agent.

Let's start with the favorable—great location right on the boardwalk at 15th St. The downside is that my room 314 was both a mess and a challenge for me. The bathroom was the real issue. A toilet set in a space so small that someone my size/6`-2" 240, could barely fit in the space. This is, of course, a built-in issue with no real solution. However, the bathroom doorknob with no screws holding it together, and the plate around the water handle in the shower with no screws holding it in place, allowing it to flop around. The dirty, grimy toilet seat and the bent, damaged towel bar. These are all cheap, easy fixes and should be done immediately. The only reason for these issues to exist that I can see is the willful disregard of the people staying there.
