"The resort itself is excellent. However, if you have serious food allergies like I do, I’d be careful. Lots of stuff was labeled as GF or DF and I could clearly see that it had milk or bread. I think it’s fine if you are extra aware. I told staff multiple times and I still had several allergic reactions. Other than that, this resort is my favorite."

"This is our second time visiting and brought friends with. We absolutely love it. Omar is the best bartender ever anything he makes is absolutely delicious. We also love Jose and Valentin and anybody at the swim up bar. Kenia has been our pool lounge server since last year when we visited. Excellent service and attention to detail. Gabriela was our concierge and she was amazing. Jesus in the front always eager to help and always making sure we were okay. In all honesty everyone that works at grand Velas riviera Nayarit goes above and beyond with wonderful work ethic, friendliness and immaculate attention to detail. We feel extremely safe and cared for here. We honestly can’t ask for anything better. We definitely enjoyed our second time here and look forward to our next time. Please make sure to tip your bartenders, servers, housekeeping in the morning and for turn down service. They deserve it!!!"

"Wasn't impressed. Pool is small and filled with screaming children and the staff has a huge speaker blasting music. The water in the pool was about 90*. I don't think there was any alcohol in the drinks. Buffet left a lot to be desired. One restaurant was completely closed for renovations. Not much to eat as a vegetarian. Overall i won't be back but it was decent overall."
